I work nights, sleep during the day. I was waken by an explosion of sparks just pass my porch on the other side of my tree, at the back of my neighbor‘s house. I hurried outside, but the sparks seemed to have gone and the air thick with smoke.
We’ve had transformers blow on the corner, but this seemed too low for the wirers.
So I called the fire dept. (not 911, because I wasn’t sure it classed as an emergency and I told the operator that the smoke seemed to be dissipating now, so…)
Big ol’ fire truck came out and found a honking huge fire cracker in the bushes.
They took my name and D.O.B. and info, and left saying it was legal firecracker.
Admittedly, I come from a county where firecrackers are strictly illegal except for on the beach on the fourth of July, so I’m completely unaccustomed to firecrackers on open streets like allowed here in Humboldt.
Here’s the Q:
Am I going to be in trouble for calling the FD?
What was I suppose to do with an explosion of sparks and a lot of smoke?
When do you call the FD?

You must have knowledge plese tell me where did any of the matter that we see today come from? Was it always around eternally? I thought scientists calculated 14 billion years, so if that is not eternaty then where does it come from?

Romans 6:1-2

"What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?"

It is a TOUGH call trying to preach obediance instead of sin then repent, then sin and repent, then sin and repent... in the western world.

I have been mocked, hated and accused of trying to spread cult evil...because I have a call to share the truth with Christians. Truth about His commandments and removing paganism from the church. Which really is its origin after the Romans got a hand in it.

I expect resistance. All tough messages go unreceived.

The road is narrow....and I dont deny or understimate grace by any means.

But can we be honest...does western Christians abuse grace... just sin cuz you'll be forgiven attitude??

I admit I have done it. Lots.

Lets be real Christians for a moment and be honest. Is this right? honestly??? I know we cannot fulfill the law! But do we just live like hell and expect heaven?

Such as Jim Jones, is it frightening that the human mind is so conditioned to be convinced into a cult mentality that they would murder their own children, commit suicide?

Who else is amazed at this, the ability to convince others, if you are powerful with persuasion, in whatever belief system you choose, to get a whole group of people to kill themselves and others.
This is also demonstrated in Nazi Germany and many other examples.

What is this and how frightening is it to you,--It scares the crap out of me, not because I would be convinced, (I'm not easily hypnotised) but because everyone else around you is crazy and stupid and just poised for their brain to be molded by the 'one' who has the answer.

what does it say about you? Are you one of those who are a nonconformist, are set apart from the crowd, a free thinker, one who can think for themselves, can judge right from wrong by themselves,

or are you a follower?

I have seen many say it happened because many civilizations have flood stories. According to the Bible, the entire world was flooded, and only the 8 people on the Ark survived. So, who was telling and/ or writing all those other civilizations' flood stories?

I recentley was robbed...it was bad but I've told this story a bajillion times even to the news. It WAS pretty horrible. But you know what? I feel myself being more angry at the dozens of people standing around watching than I am at the four people who kicked me while I was on the ground and stole everything I had. Well...not everything because my iPod fell out of my pocket and a man who was watching picked it up off the ground and stole it while I was in pain. Nice guy.

The other day I saw a teenage boy about 14-15 yelling at his mother in the parking lot. He was calling her stupid and really talking down to her, well actually yelling down to her.
A few weeks before that I saw a man in the store yelling at a small girl, about 6yrs old. He wasnt getting on to her for doing anything wrong he was saying things like how dumb she was and even told her to "get her head out of her as*". Should I have made a stand. Should I have spoken up. Should I have told that boy to respect his mom? If you were witness to this, what would you do. Honestly. Not what would you want to do but what would you actually do? What should I have done?

I don't think simply by 'faith' is a good answer enugh, I realized that sometimes superficial beliefs are there to answer the unanswered.

Even in the past, religions are one of the institutions that provide answers that science cannot answer at the moment, however, when science was discovered, more and more religion was banished for cheating the public.

Sometimes, human beings created their own religion? How can we sure that cat is so sacret in Egypt while we're kicking it on the streets?

When something bad happens, we say "it's God's plans", isn't this a psychological way to answer the misery the person encountered and also to console him? We often blame God for many things, such as failure in business and education, is that the right way?

We often say that everything in bible is correct, but it is written, structured, planned, organized, and potentially distorted by human. The priests claims it to be correct, any evidence?

I think that part of the problem with socitey today is people who claim an affiliation to a religion and use that which diffirentiates them from other religions to hate everyone else. That is the primary reason why society is falling. there is no longer a sincere desire to serve G-d with no secondary motives, unconditionally. the closer one gets to knowing G-d the easier it is to see that his will is for all to rise above our differences to become one as he is one.

Who is God?
What has he revealed about himself?
To begin with, whenever he refers to himself in parental terms, he always addresses himself as Father never Mother...example
A son honors his father and a servant his master. If then i am the father where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is my reverence? another example his prohets acknowledged him as father. "you are our father, we are the clay and you our potter and all of us are the work of you hands...
What does God care about? what does he have to say for himself? well i found out that he delights in justice and righteousness He says Let not the wise boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boast about this, that he understands and knows me, that i am the lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight...
I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies Declares the lord God!Therefore, repent and live
