What has he revealed about himself?
To begin with, whenever he refers to himself in parental terms, he always addresses himself as Father never Mother...example
A son honors his father and a servant his master. If then i am the father where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is my reverence? another example his prohets acknowledged him as father. "you are our father, we are the clay and you our potter and all of us are the work of you hands...
What does God care about? what does he have to say for himself? well i found out that he delights in justice and righteousness He says Let not the wise boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boast about this, that he understands and knows me, that i am the lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight...

Although a lot of fundamentalists like to call others atheist, an atheist is a person who does not believe in God. Fundamentalist Christians will often call anyone who does not believe that the bible is literally true an atheist. In other words, if I do not believe in talking serpents, then, to these people, I am an atheist.

They also like to call people of other faiths atheists. Obviously, this is wrong. People of other faiths obviously believe in God.

So, when you ask why people don't believe in God, you really have to clarify your question. If you're a fundamentalist Christian, then you are not really asking why people don't believe in God, but why people don't believe in talking serpents and other fables found in the bible.

I can only speak for myself. I believe in God. I do not believe in talking serpents.

God is simply revealed in the beauty and softness of this natural world, but I can see why some can't see that truth, because of all the fools on the hill shouting lies at the top of their lungs

God!!!

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.

Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?

Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

(Epicurus 341-270 B.C., philosopher)
