If there is another prophet who receives the word of God and a further testament to The Bible is created, will you accept it with the same faith?

Surely it is for God to decide if there will be another Prophet?

I am muslim and believe that Quran is the last Testament. Also believe that, OT and NT have corrupted over the time.
In response to dmd; it was referred to paul (known as st. paul)

No. The OT and NT are the ONLY testaments of the bible. Any other book that is 'created' (like the book of Mormon) is not another 'testament of Christ', but a false doctrine written by man who is NOT inspired by the Holy Spirit as were the holy men of God during the time the bible was being written.

There are no more prophets today. Christ was the last prophet to walk the earth. He died and rose from the cross, and thus, no more prophets. Those who claim to be prophets today are called 'false teachers' in the bible.

unfortunately, many so called prophets have claimed to have received the word of God and attempted to add it onto the Bible, unfortunatley many have accepted these so called prophets with the same or worse even greater faith. The additional testament would have to line up with the current scriptures- so far, anyone with a little discernement can see the current fruits of the sp called prophets that have come are nowhere near in line with God's word, much of what they say is in complete opposition to God's word.
If there are to be any further writings in the future, I would not accpet them just because they supposedly came from the Lord- study and discernment would have to be used. God's word gives us clear understanding that we might be able to discern a false prophet

It won't be... There are already tons of other dead sea scrolls out there, that weren't included in the Bible canons (sets, volumes). A few of which have been made famous by movies, like Stigmata for the Gospel of Thomas.

Even now, typical Catholic and Protestant Bibles have different books included. (Apocrypha) ... then there's also the pseudopigrapha (not sure on the spellings of those!)

So... there are already books written in that time frame about Jesus/God that we don't put stock in. It would take a rather large act of the church to include any of those, much less anything new.

God wouldn't all of a sudden say, "oh by the way here is a new kind of law/prophet"....... He will have a foretelling in his word to keep impostors from deceiving us. There must be a checklist of things that the new prophet must be so that we might know he is truly from the Almighty.

To say "no" would be to say that time was frozen after the Bible was written. To say "yes" would invite every Kook with a robe to spout out new fairy tales. (You know, like the fairy tales Paul told in the Bible.)

Duh: Revelations was only one scroll. Some people actually think God sat down with a scribe and dictated the Bible as one complete and perfect unit. (They probably think it took God, just one extra day to write the Bible.)

Then again, some Bubba Preachers think the Bible was originally written in English. --- go figure.

It depends on what it says. That's the way I treated the Gospel of Judas. I can read them, and if it does not contradict God's word it is most likely something that I can hang on to. The Gospel of Judas didn't do that for me. It seemed so 'Gnostic' in it's wording.

No, the Bible clearly states in Revelations 22:

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

If there were to be another prophet, Jesus would have said so, instead, he tells us not to add or take away.

I have been given the gift of anointment by the Holy Spirit and that gift would tell me weather the profit was true or not.
We are good.

There will be no more Prophets of
God. There will be many that are
false. The worst of these are yet
to come.
