Run, don't walk, away from pornography in every form. Because you have engaged in gay behavior in the past and Satan and his demons have witnessed this, they will continue to use it to confuse you and trip you up if possible. When these thoughts come to you, do as Jesus did when Satan came to tempt him. He said, "Get behind me..." This is important and it is also important to memorize scriptures concerning men who lie with men. Remind yourself if you feel yourself slipping.
As for your faith in God and Christ, I would recommend daily Bible reading and really pondering over what you have read. Your heart is like a dirty glass of water. If you keep pouring clean water in it, it will get clearer and clearer. If you put dirty water in or even just let it sit the way it is, it will get worse. May God bless all your efforts to follow in Jesus' footsteps.

dude - If youre attracted to guys then you are gay but....you dont have to act out on that. Just stay asexual... I know...easier said than done.
Why do you want to be married in a temple? There is only one true bona fide reason why people should get married....because a man and a woman love each other....nothing more, nothing less...Anything else as noble as it could be, is the wrong motive and could be destined for a breakup.
In your case, since you may be gay, I doubt the mormon church would allow a gay marriage.
In the meantime, be still and keep praying and listening.

Your church is not the only church - and there are a lot of ways of interpreting scripture. So if you think you might be gay - thats all right. For goodness sake, you think the universe would create something with an inherent "go striaght to hell "charectoristic?
No, I dont think so either.
Maybe you should explore other religious options.
You might find the people at those places just as cool

You need to carefully consider WHY you love the church. It could be from the camaraderie with other members, but if they condemn you for homosexual tendencies, that is not a valid reason. It could be because you love the ritual, but that is not a good reason. It could be because you believe the tripe that Joseph Smith wrote, but that has errors so that is not a good reason. It could be because you believe in salvation by Jesus, but that requires believing that god created Jesus to intercede with god on behalf of sinners -- which is silly, so that is not a good reason. What is left? Reading the reference may help clarify your thoughts.

So... i'm not mormon and don't know much... but i know what you're going through, at least for the first problem. I went through that before, and you could say I'm still going through it. To me, it won't ever disappear.
Disbelief and doubt is something natural to a lot of people, especially if you grew up in a christian home.
It got so bad for me, I was really desperate cos I really wanted to believe in God, but couldn't because one part in me was doubtful. Are you like that?
Anyway, I want to encourage you to keep trying. Don't give up. I haven't given up yet, I don't know what I'm doing, but I know what I want. Yeah, there are gonna be times when everything just seems crazy, but keep your head up. I promise, with all my heart that God REALLY is there and that he hasn't forgotten about you.

Go out in the forest and look at all the beauty of nature and know that God played a symphony and the vibrations caused the energy to create you and God don't make no junk, just go love yourself like God loves you and serve others and don't listen to the fools on the hill.

Seek God, not the church! While the church is good for fellowship, you need to be talking to GOD! The whole thing about being a believer is Faith, Faith is not having to see. Also, by scientific study, you are not gay one day and then not the next. Your problem is that Satan is feeding lies into your head pulling you away from God, that is precisely why you need to talk to GOD!

You don't need to desire the approval of a church. Look to God and the rest will take care of itself. You give a fine example of why organized religion should be considered a plague.

Sounds to me like you don't really buy the church line, but love the sense of belonging. There are other venues to get that sense of belonging, and many of them are secular, or at least might better meet your spiritual, as well as personal social needs.
