With the internet, one can access information and network instantly. The Bible, Torah, Quran, etc are all available for free. Research can be done with your fingertips instead of at the library. Many people are born into a religion, and then change faiths along the way. This probably wasn't as likely before computers. Technology is a broad word. Current, or over the last 2000yrs? Technology makes it easier to build churches, and for the vehicles to transport to them outside of your own neighborhood. Technology also has proven that God didn't create a flat world with a sun moving around it. Etc etc etc.... how hasn't technology changed religion?

religion to some, technology to others... though i have to admit that obviously every one uses the technology... unless your an extreme person and say your religion doesn't allow it...
