This sort of follows up to my last question. I get this overwhelming vibe that my boss does not like me at all, and I don't understand why. We're just about the same age (I'm 28, she's 27), so you'd think we'd be able to get along just fine. She's very rude whenever she asks me to do something; I'm a recent addition to the company, so I'm still trying to understand how everything works. I can understand that she maybe gets a little annoyed that I'm not overly familiar with the terminology and processes involved, but she could be much more pleasant about it. She totally alienates me, and I don't get it. What on Earth did I do to her?

So we pose a few questions? So what. It is your doubts in your belief that make you angry. I am not an aethist, but the non christians in here do not seem to be angry, they just want you to give them sound reasoning or proof or something other than bibile quotes to help your cause. Would you say that modern physics models of the world (quantum mechanics, string theory, the holographic paradigm...) support the possibility of so-called paranormal phenomena (telepathy, psychokinesis etc) or discount them? Also, for the really brave, what about spirituality in general and the possibility of divine?

Obviously I'd like people who actually know about the subject to comment, but if you're going to insist, at least first watch the PBS documentary "The Elegant Universe", hosted by physicist Brian Greene:

You could also watch "What the bleep do we know?" which, while perhaps a bit less objective about the matter, still raises some very interesting points.

because I find it odd that he heals homosexuals who really don't have anything wrong with them to heal (what's he healing them from, love?) yet he doesn't heal amputees. God doesn't care if you get an arm or leg ripped off, if that happens you're on your own, but if you hit puberty and happen to be attracted to the same sex, he now heals you? Why does he do that now when he never did in the bible? Should homosexuals be entitled to SSI and Disability benifits if God thinks they're disabled enough to require miracle healing?

are mexicans trying to reclaim the southeast US, or all of the US? it seem like it. especially because of people like Augustin Cebada, information minister of the Brown Berets. and Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas, Arlington and founder of the La Raza Unida political party.

they want to take advantage of the declining white population. i wonder what they think about the blacks and asians then.

It sickens me that this is such a one sided country, you can racially discriminate against whites and discriminate against gays but god forbid we suggest that blacks are given more opportunities with college, lower requirements in test scores in the philadelphia police department and so on... A friend (white) recently tested in the phl police academy, scored way higher than the black candidates yet did not make it in because of the racist so called equal rights to allow a larger percentage of blacks to enter to satisfy the black quota? what is it with that? Is this why Obama is being pushed for president, I have yet to see what is so great about him.

What do i do i think a gang of hardnut boys are after me i keep seeing them follow me and look at me while talking quitley and sometimes in the convasation i hear beat up and they keep looking at me and waiting for me at the end of school and then when i go pass in my car they look at me in a evil looking way with all there hoodies on. I really can't explain how i know they are after me but i know they are 80% sure! Some of them when in my class just crepp out sort of like they are getting ready to get me when i come out of the class but i always avoid them and walk another way. But this monday i feel they will catch me as i hear them talking to another boy about my name and monday that is all i heard. What do i do cause i don't want to get beat up but if i tell a teacher saying i am scared they really will be after me big time. (Also these boys are the sort of kids that will just break the law and don't care.)

Smart people can do this. They can interpret and distort definitions so as to make any contradiction disappear.

Example: Let's say the bible says there are round squares. This is obviously a contradiction. But I can stretch the meaning and give you a B.S. resolution to it:

"What they really meant was a square with rounded edges, so it's really not a contradiction."

Give me an example of one you can't explain and I will explain it in a Christian manner.

Got this work in a toast suitable for using at wedding receptions etc. Line is 'May the moose ne'er leave your girnal' My thoughts being home. Web site referred to word kirnel which sort of means battlement.

Examples could be small time drug users or white collar crime (HUGE fines could work better with a lot of community service required). Some jail time could be appropriate, but some caught with a few joints are in jail longer than others guilty of assult or rape. This is not right.
