I grew up listening to the Doors, love their music !! Ex-flower child here. No I was not into drugs but dressed the part of a flower child.. listened to Janis Joplin & Jimi Hendrix too , woohoo..Shame they were into drugs that destroyed most of their life's ! My 22 year old listens to the Doors too.

I admit that, as with all things, their music is now sounding dated. However, their best songs still remain unique. Break on Through to the Other Side, Crystal Ship, and The End are just a few numbers I will always enjoy. They make me think Jim Morrison was prescient, he saw it coming. (His leaving, that is.)

phenomonal performer.Sad he let drugs take his life.
