I have a daughter who I want to keep away from sin. I don't want her having sex before marriage and I don't want her stealing, etc. I told her that she shouldn't do these things because they are sins, but she said the following:

"Trying to define sin is judging. Judging is something we're not supposed to do because the bible forbids it. You are in effect waving the hand of God, usurping God's authority."

So then is it un-Christian of me to try to tell my child what is or what isn't a sin so that they can have some direction in their lives?

how can you believe this guy with his mansion, private jets, luxury lifestye, and etc. he is always asking for money in the name of god , here is a good example " if you give god nothing that is what god is going to give you " are people that stupid

I cannot decide if i want to really quit or not. I quit easily if I am not around other people , only when I am forced to be around other people do I want to smoke really badly. But after quitting for a few weeks , quiete easily actually, I started to feel like I was better able to focus when I smoked ciggarettes and was more able to concentrate better and felt happier in a strange way.???

my friend and i are the goody goody type we do all of our work pass it in on time or pass itin early also we are teachers pets but we hate it so we want to get suspended but we need a good plan a funny one ppl will remeber so should we and if so what can we do?

We study in the same school and sit at the same desk , sometimes we touch eachother(i don`t know if it is cuz of friendship or so) and we are like glued to eachother our legs are touching and sometimes we get preety close. Once I slept at him at he kind of like touched me but when I asked him a few days later he told me that he was dreaming all along . But sometimes we get so close to eachother(physicaly) that after about 5 minutes he tells me "ur too close i don`t have any room" but this happens in the classroom.

And don't answer "because it says so" because that's circular reasoning. Don't say "because it's the word of god" because that gets back to "because it says" so. I don't want you to disprove an example, I want to know why you assume there are none.

It seems like dissent is not tolerated in heaven, and he has established a huge cult of personality to where everything is his will. Isn't an eternity burning in hell worse than the concentration camps of the Nazis or the gulags of the Soviets? So in effect aren't the people in hell oppressed, and does this make the people in heaven collaborators?

Atheists are the most ignorant humans on earth. what hope do they have, they might as well just kill themselves if when they die its "over". In which millions of innocents have been killed in his name. I understand that you cannot have good without evil. Ying without yang. But setting up mans heart so that greed and lust outwiegh any reason makes no sense. Because ultimately man kills in gods name because of lust and greed.
