I once drove an elderly (93 years-old) friend of mine 150 miles to a Benny Hinn medicine show...he was a follower... I had never heard of the guy. I'm pretty Orthodox Catholic...but I wanted to help my friend. I never said anything afterward to him about my feelings about the whole thing.
But the show was a complete, total, unadulterated fraud. Hinn had scouts going through the audience pre-show who asked the sick and wheelchair bound some very leading and evasive questions trying to determine if they could be used to "be cured" on stage.
My friend, who was mostly deaf and confined to a wheelchair was asked a few questions, and when it became obvious to the scout that his ailments were genuine, the scout moved on to find a more suitable victim.
Hinn talked and talked, promised to cure people...and after many hours of this and passing the collection plate on several occasions (actually it was a large popcorn-type bucket....closely watched by Hinn's minions)....Hinn announced that the "curing" rituals would not take place until the next afternoon's show.
It was horrible. Thousands upon thousands
(Charlotte, NC Coloseum) of genuinely sick and crippled people had their hopes dashed in a second. I had to give first aid to a man next to us who went into an epileptic seizure...no medics or any of Hinn's Brownshirts even took notice...even though the poor guy keeled over in the central aisle.
It was a disgrace. He is an abomination.
I'm not a very emotional guy...but tears are welling in my eyes right now as I re-read my post. It was...just Satanic...I'm at a loss for words at the damage he does to people's faith....

I've been to see Benny Hinn many times in the fifteen years of my life. The last time I was there, I experienced the power of God more than I ever have before, I could literally physically feel the power of God burning in my hands when I had fallen under the power and immediately began speaking in tounges as the Holy Spirit loosed my tounge. The people who are slain in the Spirit of God are no actors, I tell you from experience. Many people on television put Benny down and say that he is all about money. People tithe Benny Hinn Ministries just like they would tithe any other church. I'm sure you probably even tithe your own church. The money he gets goes toward the enormous work of setting up his crusades. For example, when he preached in India, there for over 7 million people who showed up, and there were 65 screens set up for miles around so that everyone coul watch! Millions of people have come to Christ through his ministry and it makes me sad to see so many people, even Christians, who put him down. And if you do not believe that God still uses people to lay hands on the sick and heal them, here is a verse for you. It is very simple to understand. Mark 16:17-18:
These signs will follow those that believe.... In My name they will lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Notice it doesn't say that only the twelve disciples were given this authority. It says anyone that believes.
Do you know why he has the jet that everyone puts him down for having? It's because, how else is he going to preach the gospel around the world without it? It's his transportation.

Benny Hinn is a "faith healer" - not the 1st, in all probability not the final, yet truly between the main valuable. they're illusionists. Hinn has been discredited and debunked, yet human beings flock to his demonstrations. He has workers who communicate over with members of the objective audience to scout out "sturdy applicants," and secretly relate this coaching to the performer. those with severe disabilities are weeded out. He has additionally made "prophecies" that have shown fake, and has made off-the-wall claims, like Adam from Genesis replace right into a superbeing who might desire to fly to the moon. he's a charlatan, and has no genuine healing capacity.

there is a video on youtube (actually several of Benny Hinn)...one has a former worker who talks about how he has a private jet that takes him on his overseas tours and the guy said that Benny Hinn would always stop off somewhere for "ministry teaching" , say at Hawaii, Cancun, Italy , etc. and he would lay on the beach at times like everyone else....Also that his motel rooms are about $1000 or more a crack....!!!!
there IS some weird stuff that happens at his crusades...people falling over in their SEATS...not sure if this is of God or not...
People say he puts the sickest people to the back of the rows (ie paralyzed people in wheelchairs)
I saw in one of the tabloids that once he was shopping for one of his expensive nehru jackets at Luis Vittons and a guy in a wheelchair asked him to pray for him and he refused, having his security guards stop the guy and tell him that he would have to go to the crusade to be healed...he later said on his show that healing wouldn't work as well with him alone..it needs all the people at the crusade praying to help..
One lady believed she was healed of cancer at a crusade and on dateline or similar show, they said 3 days later she died.
I used to be a believer in him, but the mansions, limos, jets, etc are not what I think Christ would approve of..
P.S. Maybe his jet is transporation to his crusades, but he doesn't need to make side trips to Hawaii, Cancun, Italy, etc.

I happened to work for MICHATEK in Broken ARROW OK - a call center for the religous channels. I took calls for donations to benny hin...
WHAT A SCAM - for a free gift send a donation of 10 $ for a 25 cent brouchure.
his "prayer line" is all scripted and having checked several bibles, is not correct in its verses.
also - the send your donations and requests for prayer mail address is the saddest thing i have ever say - boxes upon boxes of mail - and we were directed to open the letter, check for cash/ checks / money orders and throw the letters unread, into a furnace. with ironically a picture of the devil painted on it.
yeah hes fake.

Not I !
The Health & Wealth doctrines are a gospel different from the one that Paul taught.
If the likes of Hinn were sincere about it, then they would give away their millions, and receive all the more from God, instead of begging for the money of the elderly, sick, lame, and handi-capped, and spiritually weak.

If Benny Hinn was was legit, he would live simply. Tele-evangelists are like him prey on distraught/disaffected folks. They are scam artists that use "God" to finance their lifestyles.
Beware the Zealots!
