If you are going to answer with something like, "please don't" then educate me as to why, I am interested in your reasoning. Thank you.

Both my wife and I became Episcopalian 15 years ago. I left the Methodist Church and she left the Catholic church. Both of us went through a series of classes that explained the Episcopal faith in terms of ritual, expectations of its adherents, and requirements of a faithful person in the world at large.
I'm amazed at the remarks by a few earlier respondents, two of whom have never darkened the door of an Episcopal church. We are in a church that has a great deal of biblical study, yet at the same time supports a good deal of latitude in belief. It lacks the blind unthinking orthodoxy of Catholicism (Great portions of which are utterly unrelated to scripture) and Fundamentalism (To whom half a verse is better than none and support many positions that are utterly at odds with Christ's teachings and Paul's writings). The churches, by choice, remain fairly small and intimate compared to megachurches. The result is a true community of faith that is rewarding to the spirit and intellect at the very same time.

I joined the Episcopal church over 30 years ago. The classes for adults are called "Inquirers Class". Just call the church and ask when they start. It is a very basic class and will not tell you everything about the faith. It is the required class for baptism (if you have never been) and confirmation. After that most churches have other classes or studies that you can go to that tell you more. You can also ask the priest a lot of questions. I live near a university, so I started taking classes there and before I knew it I had a degree in Religious Studies. Now I sometimes teach at Church.
You should also know that there are different "flavors" in the Episcopal church depending where you live. Some are High (more like RC in practice), some are Low (more like Methodist in practice) some are a combination of both, called Broad. I am High church and the parish I attend is Broad, that means that some folks are more low church but we all get along.
PS. Father K left the church when we ordained women priest in 1976. Some others have left in the past 2 years in protest of our ordaining a gay man. It is a long story, I suggest you talk to the local priest for the whole story and current policy.

So after reading all of the reply's to this question the one question I have is ; do Christians pretty much skip the parts of the Bible that say ; Do not judge others and you will not be judged, for you will be treated as you treat others, that was from Matthew chapter 7 1&2 btw. Or one of my personal favorites; Love your neighbor as much as yourself Mark 12'31. I really don't think God would approve of his "people" being such hateful b@%!s......Just saying

I'm training to be an Episcapalian Priest but unfortunately I'm in the UK so I'm not sure I know the structure in the US.
However have you checked out Father Matthew Moretz he's a friend of mine who posts very accessible short blog videos on Youtube about what it means to be an episcapalian.
You might want to check those out!
Good luck anyway

When Henry VIII broke away from the Catholic Church, all that remained in the church of England were the images and rites of authentic sacraments, but no authority to confect or administer them, and certainly no authentic Eucharist.
They will explian otherwise, but they have no longer have any authority from either God or his true church to do what they do.
In that respect, the Episcopal faith is misleading.
No protestant groups have valid sacraments (other than perhaps baptism and matrimony) but at least they are usually willing to say so, in public.
It costs no more to go first class.
Become a Catholic and enjoy the real and substantial presence of Jesus Christ in your life, along with powerful, grace giving sacraments, and the unlimited divine authority to back them up..
Contact your local Catholic Church and ask about the RCIA program.

Why would you seek the wrath of God over the blessing of God. God destroyed sodom because of homosexuals and because the people hearded there voices. Why would you join yourself to such as they defile the church the Lord Jesus paid for with his blood.
You shall find that in a very short period of time there shall arise prophets like mosus in the land whom the Lord shall send to the churches such as the Episcopalian with a word of rebulk and a judgement if there is not repentance and a return to God. Do you want to be counted into that fold. Yes prophets still exist and we do not play pianos and act the fool. We do not mind seeing people destoryed for sin and for promoting sin and
condoning sin. And we have power just as in the days of old.
Example you see a nation that is covered in bad weather from coast to coast. Do you think that just happened. It is a judgement for sin and the quran being sworn on in court. God does nothing before he speaks to his friends the prophets.
We have come unto a new time in which sin will be punished in the moment. The bride had better become spottless for the day is coming whn men can't indure sound doctrine and the prophets will be losed on the earth. And we are send for correction.
