Prior to the Tate-LaBianca murders, why was Charles Manson considered crazy when he declared himself as the son of god? Did jesus not do the exact same thing? Both men believed themselves to be the son of god. Both used prostutites to draw men into their beliefs; Jesus had Mary and Manson had his group of women from the Haight/Asbury area. The both clamed the world was going to end and that they were the savior to lead them into some kind of utopian afterlife. I find it funny how many devout religious people can take in what the hear and believe it without doing some logical thinking into what they're being told. Why is Charles Manson any different from Jesus? Maybe it's becuase I'm a "see it to believe it" kind of guy but there are just too many flaws in this Jesus jazz not to take notice too. The irrationality of it all gives me a headache sometimes. Why do those of you, as Christians, follow Christianity? Have you been raised by it or have you converted?

Researchers at the "Journal of Blacks in Higher Education" found that if race-neutral policies were in effect at the most selective schools, the chances of a white student being accepted would rise from 25 percent to 26.5 percent—a statistically insignificant change. This means more than 98 percent of the white students who were rejected from these elite institutions would still be rejected.

America has a long history of institutional White supremacism, going back 400 years, that pervades every aspect of our country - the government, education, business, housing ect.

And ALL White people benefit from it - even the poorest Whites.

Poor Whites are far less likely to be arrested than poor Blacks or Latinos, even though the White poor commit just as much crime as the minority poor (or more if you include crank/crystal meth/methamphetamine related crimes - the White poor have a monopoly on that!)

everybody says it is the word of god but what they dont realize most gospels have differant versions of the same account, for example when Jesus rose from the dead some gospels say he was greeted by one angel another gospel says he was greeted by two angels another said he was just greated by mary, if it was written by the word of god wouldnt it cantain the truth of what happend and not several versions of one account, this is a perfect example of how stories get changed over time by man
so why believe in noahs arc? or why adam and eve? wouldnt you think it was stories to teach uneducated people of right and wrong, how would god tell the ancient people of evolution, it would be impossible

someone asked if i was a teenager. yes i am. and yes i am also very deep. i look at life and i try to put myself out there to see what it is really about. i put my feelings in these poems. they are apart of me. when i hurt i write them. i do know how to be happy and i'll try to write some happy ones.:)

Pain.

How can i hide the pain
that i feel?

Pain, is it that feeling you get when
your stomach starts aching or is it

Pain is a terrible feeling,i've felt
it before,it's not very appealing.

Pain, why do we have to feel it,

can't believe it.

Pain,everyone feels it it's
a feeling you get when you
grief for a loved one,it's
a feeling oh so hard to bear,
it's more than losing your hair.

Pain, why does it hurt so bad,
it's so unbearable it's oh so sad.

How do you know what they are saying is truth? Was Saddam truly hung to die? Did Gerald Ford die? Did OJ go on trial for murder? Was JFK president at one time and killed in Texas?

Is there a war in Iraq? How do you know what you read is truth?

The Serpent(Enki), which is said to be the devil, told Eve that they would not die, but would be able to perceive good and bad as God does. The couple ate from the tree and saw that they were nude. They then covered their privates with fig leaves and hid their nakedness from God; But they DID NOT DIE! So if lying is a sin, then, didn't God commit the original sin? Also, if the Serpent and the Devil are one, than the Devil told them the truth.

okay, so my husband and i baught a remote car started, and we set up an appointment for after the holidays to have it installed, it was for today at 9am. so we get there and no one is there, so we figured okay we'll wait, 930 rolls around still no one. so i called the store, and found out they don't open till 10!! so we had to sit in the parking lot for an hour, then when they did open, we said we had 9am appointment, and they said "i don't know we don't have 9am appointments" no appoligy no "well i'll talk to your salesperson" nothing!!
am i right in being pissed about this what shold i do?

If you we're with a friend and she wanted to get something fatty and you we're worried about getting fat and you like let her get it and she was eating by herself or you got a smaller size would it make her feel embarrased or make her think your no fun. I'm 13 and most of my friends eat more than I do and aren't as worried about getting fat.
