Good question, and no they are not. Jesus said...
Matthew 10: 8b: "YOU received free, give free."

Without commenting on the motives of TV Evangelists you should consider the parable of the widows mite. Whilst it is unfortunate that there have been cases of TV Evangelists exploiting the poor, the parable shows that God values the gift of the poor widow and will bless them for it even if the money was misappropriated by an unscrupulous evangelist.

The Lesson (or Parable) of the widow's mite is a story present in the Synoptic Gospels (Mark 12:38-44, Luke 20:45-47,21:1-4), in which Jesus is teaching at the Temple in Jerusalem, and condemns the Pharisees for their show of wealth, ostentation, and self importance. Witnessing the donations made by the rich men, Jesus highlights how a poor widow donates only two mites, the least valuable coins available at the time, but that this was everything she had to her name, while the other people give only a small portion of their own wealth. The Gospel of Mark specifies that a mite was worth less than a quadrans, the smallest Roman coin, implying that Mark's intended audience were more familiar with Roman culture than with Jewish.

A gift should to be judged not by its absolute value, but by how it compares relatively; that it is not the impressiveness or purchasing power which matters, but what it means.

He would be appalled that they're doing it in his name or anyone else's name, for that matter. But, they need all that money so they can live in a million-dollar plus home, drive a fancy, expensive car, and in some cases have their own airplanes as well. Plus, they need to pay for the TV time so they can bilk others out of their money, build a large, fancy church which will seat thousands, pay their staff and so on. Out of every dollar given, about 3 cents goes to helping people - the rest goes toward keeping them in the lifestyle to which they've become accustomed. Organized religion is a rip-off and joke. Remember what Jesus said? "Where 2 or 3 are gathered together..." he never mentioned big, expensive churches. And did he ask for money when he was out and about? The way its set up now is nothing more than a scam designed to get people's money from them.

the solid ones somewhat do spend plenty of the money on the undesirable international huge. the mission as I see it isn't those taking the money, however those giving the money! Why are human beings so gullible? basically because they yell "praise God!" would not lead them to Christians. I desire human beings might want to do truly study ... an uncomplicated Google search for will supply them a good idea of what the ministry is like.

I am VERY wealthy and I gives thousands of dollars to MANY TV and radio ministries and missionaries....

I do it because I wants to see God's Word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached around the world....

and 2. because I know it infuriates Satan and his foolish followers who can do nothing about it but scream and holler and make fools out of themselves for all to see .

They think they're entitled to it. They have no understanding of Christ's message.
