How do you know what they are saying is truth? Was Saddam truly hung to die? Did Gerald Ford die? Did OJ go on trial for murder? Was JFK president at one time and killed in Texas?

Is there a war in Iraq? How do you know what you read is truth?

It all requires some faith doesn't it?

I suppose you make a valid point. But there is faith and there is blind faith. I don't believe everything I read in the news, just like I don't believe everything I read in the bible. To take the bible as the literal word of God, simply because it's written as the word of God, would be as illogical as taking a newspaper as the word of God. I don't flat out deny the possibility but from what I've observed most of the bible is incorrect.

You obviously don't know how a newsroom works. A reporter better have actualities (audio, video etc.) to confirm what they're reporting. They run the risk of losing their reputation and even their entire career if they don't. Also, ever hear of the RTNDA?
