I love going too. It is amazing how wonderful it feels inside, and how every that seems so confusing before simply makes sense when you are there. I hope the rest of your day is just as great!

I wonder how many people reading this realize that, until just 30 years ago, a temple marriage was not even an option if you were black or of a mixed race. I'm sure they just LOVED waiting outside in the visitor center for their white brothers and sisters to come back out, since most Temple functions require one to hold the higher (Melchizedek) priesthood, and a black man could never achieve any rank above Priest- a level most boys attain when they're 16. Which, of course, automatically disqualified them for any positions of leadership.
Ezra Taft Benson and Spencer W. Kimbel both gave a number of speeches years ago concerning the need for segregation and the evils of interracial marriage. I wonder where Mitt Romney stands on the issue- and whether he will disavow the church's racist past, thus questioning the integrity of the Prophets, or go along with the ridiculous official explanation- "blacks weren't ready yet, then the Prophet had a vision from God, and suddenly they all were".

Yes! I just was there today (even though it is closed right now so it can be cleaned). You can even feel the Spirit just being on the temple grounds. It really is the closest thing we have to heaven here on earth!

Never been to Logan in particular, but I always love the experience.
My favorite temple is Mesa Arizona though.

even with about 124 temple built at the moment, there is still not one too close to me. Those with a House of the Lord in their backyard, please continute to visit it as much as you can - you are very blessed!

Maybe you can tell the rest of us what LDS is in case we'd like to try it for ourselves?
