For Christians, Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses.

Christians are not held to the ceremonial parts of the Mosaic Law concerning of dietary purity and temple worship including the practice you are asking about.

Christians are held to the moral law of God, some of which is expressed in the Ten Commandments.

However Jesus took the Ten Commandments to the next step summarizing them into the two Great Commandments:
+ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.
+ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

And teaching things like
+ Everyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
+ Everyone is our neighbor including our enemies.

Therefore we have to go much farther than the original recipients of the Ten Commandments ever dreamed.

With love in Christ.

Absolutely not! You must have seen that in the Old Testament. In the Old Covenant, between God and the Jews, there were many rules that Gentile (Non-Jew) Christians are not required to follow. Those ceremonial and cleanliness rules functioned to separate the Jews from the idol-worshiping cultures around them. This would go in the same category as eating pork, and getting circumcised. As Jesus said, it also functioned to show the Jews how difficult righteousness was when you try to do it on your own.

The parts of the OT law that Christians are required to follow are the moral law, which never changes. You can find these in the Ten Commandments and the laws against incest, bestiality, and homosexuality. But, as you know, Jesus said all the laws and the prophets can be reduced to love God and love your neighbor.

Hope that helps!
Here is a list of grave sins (mortal) and minor sins (venial) that may help, if you're curious.

But remember something else... a sin can never break your relationship with God if you don't even know it is wrong! God is merciful.

Yes according to The Bible you are instructed to refrain from sex as you are considered in impure...people would treat you as unclean and separate you from your people until the time is past.
They did not have water or medical treatment as the children of Israel and they had boils jaundice and skin infections in the camp that had to be taken to the priest and offerings to make atonement for...
I thought cut off from your people forever. I did it and I thought is cushes the lining and it was messy but I felt it was a sin...I am unsure about the cut off from your people part but it is frightening to commit a sin.

In the Old Testament (under the Law) you were considered unclean for 7 days. But in the New Tesatment (under grace) there is no such law. Only to love God and your neigbor.

no it is not a sin to have sex while you are on your cycle.some people confuse laws with sins.the bible is so old and back then women did not have any rights at all.so of course they could not have sex during that time of the month.
