Apparently, when I was younger...I talked to this ghost that haunted my uncle's house. She was known by my sister as "The Cookie Monster" and to me as "That Girl". From the stories I've been told, I apparently could hear her and see her, and when asked what she looked like (happy, sad) I replied that she actually looked mad. Also, she told me to be careful on the stairs.

Any opinons on this?

Once again the Yahoo thought police have struck. Seems criticism of Yahoo is not allowed. I'll post this with the hope that some may see it before it too gets deleted. The original was deemed "insulting other participants."

Question: Hey, what is with all the hostility on Yahoo! Answers?
Question Details: Hostility to whom? A lot of people who are holding basic hatred about life and some people in it use sites like this to vent. Some people then get to respond to THOSE people. And some get very upset when Yahoo authorities step in and erase answers or questions because they are politically incorrect. I don't think there is any more hostility over all than you would find during an average rush hour on a New York City subway car, for instance. The nice thing here is - you don't have to answer or deal with the crazy people, just pick the questions you want to answer and move on. Enjoy yourself - there are a LOT of areas, a lot of questions, and occasionally some interesting answers.

Most people have heard the urban myth about saying bloody mary a specific number of times into a mirror, but in a lot of the stories 'Bloody Mary' is the vengeful spirit of a woman named Mary Worth, known to have lived in the 1700s. But who was she? And have you played the game? the idea scares the pants off me so no i never have.

most ordinary English peoples grammar .The language is English we`re English and this is how most people speak
It wasn`t invented in a room by a bunch of rich people who then tried to teach it to the rabble
the language of the privilidged was French
the language of the people was English
so we can speak it how we see fit
i resent being told how to speak my own language ,by a few snobs who think every one needs to use their Ladeeda poncy way of speaking

I've just seen the movie the Excorism of Emily Rose, and I was brought up religious, but didn't want to be religious when I was older in my college years, but in everything I see or read there is always a religious factor that I see in it. I'm of two minds about this and what this girl went through. But, I have one question why hasn't it happened to other people? Why did it happen to her and why was she so sesptable to those demons? If that movie was certain it all did happen, it's like everything I thought of God and life is like a math equation. Is it like light and dark, good and evil, is there always a right and wrong answer?

Matthew 5
32But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Matthew 19
9And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Mark 10
11And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

the first one clearly states that any woman who gets divorced is an adulteress whether se remarries or not--selective reading anyone?

Aren't you offended by how your own "holy" book treats you?

You're second class citizens in the bible.

In Genesis, Eve is blamed for all the evil in the world.

Don't you have a problem with that?

Somebody just asked about masturbating to much. I love to masturbate often enough to, but I was wondering. When girls do it we come with our own source of lubrication but guys don't. If guys masturbate to often doesn't it get raw and hurt? Do you get calluses on it?

1) In reality and religiously, is there something like "untimely death". If so, what consttutes it?

2) If I am sent to war (e.g. Iraq - and please note that no offence is intended) and I have no control over the situation there and i never wanted to go there in the first place. I got killed there before I could "repent"; will God still punish me and sending me to the place Christians call "hell"?

3) It is a fact that parents have influence over their children. Now what would happen if the cops chase a ten year old boy who had just stolen an MP3 from a store, shot and kill him. It is later found that his parents, though Atheists, had never taught or encourage him to steal. In fact they were doing the opposite. Obviously he doesn't give a hoot about God (but he is till a child). How will God judge him?
