fish :: The use of God(s) in a single breath was for illustration that God(s) understanding are presumed to be beyond mortals comprehension:
Your ways are not my way.
Man made in God's image is only in appearance and does not dare to presume more, or is that not the case ?

Thank you all:
ED SN.., nelson.. :: introducing delusional demons.
Miria.., Angel.., fish.., ManoG.., Sasi.. :: the Holy Spirit which cannot be grasped by secular reasoning.
Plaot :: Either humbleness or caution. Perhaps both.
COMMENTS:
Evangelicals and Pentecostals tends to lean heavily towards either the scripture or the Holy Spirit, with few taking the middle ground or provide a secular view of being able to defend or criticize the position of matters that cannot be seen.
Ascertaining the original text prior to the assemblage of the bible remains another moot point of contention.
With the secular position as a position that remains unsatisfactorily answered to those who do not subscribe wholly to the scripture or Holy Spirit, this Question remains open.

Simple. God does not exist outside of your head. For all your claims of an all knowing, all seeing, all powerful, God, this concept cannot be observed, tested or proven beyond human psychosis.

When the bible says that man was made in God's image it cannot be in appearance. God is spirit and man is flesh. You cannot see, hear, taste, touch or smell spirit so man was never made to physically look like God because God does not have a physical image.
The image of God is to be like God. This means to be spiritual. It also implies to be in the shadow of God which means by representation to be as God is in character. Or God like in nature.
All this man had until Adam lost it by committing high treason and conferring all the dominion God had given him to God's enemy.
Jesus Christ gave his life to redeem man from this state and to once again make it available for man to have spirit within.
If you read the Quran you will know a lot of this because the Quran, is taken from the same scriptures as the first five books of both the Jewish and Christian bibles. THE very same scriptures.
Mohammed was no fool. He recognised the truth of God and adapted it to his own understanding. Then he taught it to others.
However the quran today is not the same as it was then. Neither is the Jewish scriptures or Christian bible. Men have added, deleted and changed the true word of God into a lie to promote their own ways.
It is possible to get as near to the truth as possible and God can fill in the blanks as we ask and seek his guidance.
But the Logos is God's thoughts, and God's heart, not man's ideas and we can know what he has put down for us.
After all if men were not permitted to know God's thoughts and heart there would be no bible of any kind. No Quran or other books. Because the words of Mohammed, Moses, etc would all be lies and would not have been the word of God if we were not able or permitted to know The word of Allah.
I hope this answers your question fully but if not I do not know how to put it in a better way as it is the truth and I have no desire to make it anything then what it is.

Don't be so ignorant of God's word. Read it. We are not finite. We are created in God's image. Sure, our thoughts are polluted by the sin of Adam, but God sent us the Bible so we can understand His thoughts. Perhaps if you read the Bible you would understand it. Do try and tell me you have read the Bible because you wouldn't mention a Holy God in the same breath as "Alah".

We do not dare to presume to know God's word. For the Christian , God's word or logos was Jesus. What he says, goes. Allah's word or logos is the Quoran for the Muslim.

Consider what you are saying.
God is beyond our finite understanding.
That is one reason He took on human flesh...we can know and love Jesus, Who is God in the flesh...and He can also know and understand human temptation first hand.
That is why His sacrifice for us is so perfect.

In the beginning God spoke, and created by the words of his 'mouth'. He created man in his own image (not physically as God is Spirit) and spoke to man. He didn't tell man everything - just what he needed to know - and then man began to ever-so-slightly change what God had said and sin gained entrance.
God spoke again when giving Moses his 'Ten Words', written with his own 'finger' on tablets of stone. He spoke to the boy Samuel, and to the prophets in visions and dreams.
The Logos - the Word of God - was with God in the beginning, and that Word was God. All things that were made were made by him. He humbled himself and became man and God spoke three times while Christ walked on earth to confirm his approval of him. The Word of God moved amongst finite humanity, speaking words of life to them, declaring, "The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life." And after his crucifixion and resurrection he appeared to the apostles, then to Saul of Tarsus, speaking to them, and to John on the isle of Patmos, saying, "The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place".
All this creation and revelation involved the words (logos) of God and the very appearing of God incarnate. To help mortal men get the right grasp of all this revelation, Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to lead believers into all truth. That is why it is presumpteous to add to the words God has already given us, or to detract from them, or to mis-quote them, or to insist extra revelation has been given. God dares to communicate with US! He entrusts his words to US! He has told US some of his thoughts! He has taken the initiative! What we do with this verbal and physical communication of God will determine our eternal future. Do we handle the Word of God aright? "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). (What has denomination got to do with your question, please? These Christian views are from the Bible.)
