I'am a 17 year old male and obviously sexually alert at my very peak, however i try my best to be religous and not commit sin. I've always read in religous texts not to have oral sex, view pornography, have sex, masturbate and even look at women lustfully. God has created me with these sexual urges, the very essence of my being, how am i just supposed to abandon all my desires? How am i supposed to deal with it without commiting sin? They tell us not to this this and this but not how to deal with the urges we get?

I've become interested in a female, she is married and wants a gf to join their couple. It wouldn't be an all the time thing since she lives a few hours away, but would still be a gf/gf relationship. Just wondering everyone's thoughts. If you can't tell, I'm bi female!

When a woman confesses she is raped, guys(ok some) automatically blames the victim saying "She's the one that did this and that and she's the one that wore this and that"?

Curious and it's annoying. Some women do too. (blame the victim).

I have just learned that people who always and often say "I'm freezing" in cold weather, are hypochondriacs, in reality.
According to above fact, I can't categorize myself as I generally like winter, but hate the cold; not taking care of health, but drink and eat food with vitamins.

..to places (like salvation Army, Goodwill), that most of them arent re-sold or handed out...that they are recycled in to new thread for new clothes...have you heard this and is it true?

I saw this an a reputable newscast in my area.

This definetly makes me re-think donating my clothes to a good cause...i ust want to hand them down to a family friend or something now.

I've never been really taught anything about God, so I chose atheism because I was great friends with my high school science teacher and he was the only person who cared to show me a way to think of the world.
Then I met someone who is LDS. He started making me question everything. I would like to learn about the LDS religion but my family is always disapproving and any way I choose to start believing in. Instead of supporting me in my decisions they taunt and tease. I'm unsure how to deal with all of it.

When I did some quick research on fairies, the information I read sounded negative. What I read made fairies sound greedy and selish as they "take children"....

But I thought fairies were good? At least in children's movies they are. I always thought they were kind of like "guardian angels" for children.

I think it would make sense to let children decide what religion they want to be apart of by not forcing anything upon them at birth or through childhood.

i can tell you the only reason i believed in God was because i was always taught it to be true and was only really happy when i found my own.

Are any religious people going to let their children decide, or you'll have them believe what you want and let them decide later in life??

If you are religious how would you feel if your child didn't believe the same as you??

I believe that if there is a god (and I believe there is) he would never let a evil angel (Satan) torcher us for eternaty. I believe that the early church pushed this idea to scare us into church. God would be no better than the leader of North Korea when he says do as I say or else you would be pushed. God is better than that, don't you think?

I mean, i cant believe how rude and uncaring we are to each other.
At the risk of sounding like a hippie, we are ALL people! You, me and the rest of the human population. Imagine how great life would be if everyone treated others with love and respect! No one would need to feel alone or unsafe again!
