Why is it that when one asks an intelligent question they get so few responses...?

& when one asks a stupid question you get 28 responses in five minutes?

This is a flaw in the Yahoo System. Its brainless. You need to get negative points for dumb questions & plus points for intelligent questions. For this to happen I suppose you would need experts in each category, who fix a level for every question (from A+ to C). Those answering the A+ questions should get 5 points & those answering the C questions should get 1 point only. This will encourage people to ask intelligent questions and also answer only intelligent questions.

Because very few people these days know how to answer intelligent questions. It's easier to answer a stupid question with a smart **** remark then sit and actually think about a relevent question and give a decent response. What hope does the world have when this is our future?

First, it is harder to answer an intellegent question, and lots of people only want to get 2 points. It is funny but I try only to answer those type of questions. So far my "best answer" rating is about 35%

Second, I think that many people really do not understand many questions that posed, so they just go with the simple ones that are easy to answer.

Third, I think that if there were points only for best answer, there would be a lot less "junk" answers.

Simple: because in order to answer to a serious question one has to think about it, understand it and try to find a good solution, on the other side, for a stupid question one can give a stupid answer in a second because anything you say can do...and not everybody like to use their brains, maybe they're afraid to consume it :)))

This late at night there a lot of kids on here any they only like the questionable questions .
