NO!! in fact, it's the best thing that people can do for themselves! wait till you're ready. and trust me on this, when you're ready, you know that you don't want it till you meet the right guy (who should be your husband by then..)

I think it's too early In 8th grade a girl still isn't physically or emotionally ready,and,wont be for a few more years.I hope she's not feeling too much pressure to lose her virginity thats something you only have once in your life.I'm not saying wait till the wedding day,but virginity should be saved for real love,not wasted on a school girl crush,or a boy that wont remember her name next week.

Being a Virgin in the 8th grade is something to be proud of.... There is nothing wrong waiting to have sex until you are ready. There is no age to say you can no longer be a virgin... Tell that person you know to hang in there and be proud.

Honestly honey, whoever put this question in your head is messing with you. In 8th grade, you should be getting to know your body and preferably using masturbation (shall we call it self-love) as the first step to understanding your body and its physical needs. Having a healthy childhood also means avoiding messy situations like a painful tearing of hymen at a very tender age, contracting AIDs or STD, or having to undergo an abortion etc. At this age (in 8th grade) you should speak to either of your parents or your teachers regd sex education (trust me , you will be surprised at how helpful they will be in these matters and they will certainly guide you in the best possible manner). In my personal opinion a healthy age for losing one's virginity would be around 18 to 21 years of age, certainly not before 18.

Ummm.. no. You can not have sex, and stay a virgin, until you are ready to have sex. Which is probably not in 8th grade. In 8th grade, you aren't usually ready for sex. Some crazy people wait *GASP* until they are married and with the person they want to spend the rest of their life with. Jeez, what do they teach you kids in health class?!

no no. you have a futuer ahead of you and you don't want to destroy by doing what others has done. wait until you are much older like when you are 20 or older to have sex. That time you can take care of yourself if something comes out of it like having a baby
