Did you know that the Jewish culture actually reaches its golden age together alongside with their bretherns , the arab moorish empire ??

The Golden age of Jewish culture in the Iberian Peninsula, also known as the Golden Age of Arab or Moorish Rule in Iberia, refers to a period of history during the Muslim rule of the Iberian Peninsula (the Roman and Visigothic Hispania) in which Jews were generally accepted in society and Jewish religious, cultural, and economic life blossomed.

so to the ignorants bible thumpers who wish for the Ishamelites to fight with the Israelites as a fulfilment of the prophecy in their holy book, beware, you are the devil's advocate .

The majority of the world now knows the American stimulated war was wrong. Sad it took that long because most realized that the link between 9/11 and Iraq were not possible at all. That is if you have common sense. Sadly the U.S. government relies on the fact that Americans will follow anything that they tell them to on television. And don't act like you don't cause you do. Think about it. Instead of getting in a rage because of what I say, actually think about it. What do you really know? Just what "they" tell you. I leave you with one simple question....Where is the man named Osama Bin Laden? The man that supposedly constructed all of this. Where? And more importantly, besides the excuses that you hear and believe on TV, why are we not trying to capture this man? At least think about it.

How many of you have lost a loved one directly because of a terrorist act? How many of you lived and worked with Saudis in Saudi Arabia? How many of you have lived in or visited any Muslim country? I am often startled by the answers many people give to questions about terrorism and Muslims. I see answers filled with hate and anger and fear. I read answers that reflect a basic ignorance of history and politics and culture and religion.
My answer to my questions is “Yes, I have.” My husband was shot nine times in the head and chest by four fanantic followers of Osman bin Laden -- right in front of our villa in a Saudi neighborhood. I have stood in the street where he died and been comforted by my Saudi friends and neighbors. I live in another Muslim country although I am a Christian and a believer in the most excellent Constitution of the United States of America.
Hate and anger and fear are what lie at the heart of terrorism. Religious beliefs are merely an excuse.

When the evidence of our primal minds is portrayed here in Yahoo Answers? It seems that the Atheists here are deepening the beliefs for the Christians... and vice-versa... Most who question Islam is showing their fear of it by insulting it... The 'pagans' on this forum seem to make a bad name for themselves, mind you... not all of them.

I know that there are good people amongst you, but we are so primal in our communication. It is embarrassing.

Are there those among you that are here to satisfy curiousity or ye all motivated by your lust to convert?

Now, I know most of you are going to say, "It wasn't me that did it! It was my great grandfather!" or something similar. You should think about this. You, YOU, are still benefiting from the slavery while you are living in the United Snakes of Amerikkka. Whether you like it or not, you are going to pay for it.

Well this site has offered me some pretty darn good advice. I like it as long as people don't criticize. I know it is nice to not feel so alone and have someone I can talk too that is just giving it straight and I don't really think I'm getting a bunch of BS on here. Everywhere I go though it is nothing but BS. What has happened to us all that we just can't get along with each other and be helpful to ppl that don't have anything? I know when I leave this planet if there really truly is a Heaven I wanna go don't you? I need to go where I am needed and wanted. It is killing me inside to feel that the only one I can truly say loves me or that I can trust is my grandson and he can't even stay with me. Well enough of being the VICTIM here Birdie!! ...lol.... Thanks to you all for reading what I write and trying to help me come up with some kind of good advice and how to deal with alot of issues. See this is the way we all need to be worldwide than there wouldn't be no more fighting/PEACE

If the black stone is broken to pieces, do you think that it will stop us from worshipping god almighty towards the direction of Macca ?

If the Ka'bah a.k.a Cube in Mecca is destroyed into ruins, do you think that we muslims are going to turn our bakcs and do not pray anymore towards the direction of Mecca ?

By Allah S.W.T god of the most high, even if the city Mecca and the Ka'bah was in ruins, even if the black stone was lost, I will still pray towards the direction of Mecca.

Do you want to know why ?
Because that city is sacred and that's the station of abraham.

Second thing is, That city is the city full of blessing and security granted by the God most high to the muslims.

Third thing is, if the Ka'bah is destroyed or doesn't exist of the black stone is lost, we muslims will still worship in Mecca because to "the east and west direction belongs to God almighty" and I can turn any direction I want to worship him , even into the skies. Salam..

It is certainly very interesting. I think it could be related to my friend dying of brain cancer October 15th, but then I am not sure because I have had some of the symptoms myself. I dreamed that I was basically living my life. Except that it was not my ex husband around me, but my first love that I am with now. I dreamed that I was in a hospital and was diagnosed with brain cancer. When being told I was diagnosed, all cancer treatment centers immediately go through my mind, but then out of laziness, I decide not to fight and just go when God calls me. I am not given very long to live. On the day that I am supposed to be dying, I start panicking and start contacting those treatment centers. I'm just in a hysterical panic in this dream about it and I know that I can't do anything about it. yet something is still fighting and has hope. I think I die, but I am not sure because around the end of it I was woken by my 10 months old son. What is the meaning of all of this?

I'm an Atheist, my girlfriend is Christian. I went to great lengths to understand her faith, her beliefs. She did the same to understand my beliefs.

Here on Y!A I am literally shocked when I see the horribly low knowledge about Atheism amongst Christians. Mind you, not all Christians, but a large part of the Christians that use this forum. Is it really that big a problem to open Wikipedia and search for the word Atheism ?

Will you lose your faith, if you are still here? I may or may not be, as I might be in Heaven by then, And yes I am almost 38 but there is not garuantee of tomorow right? My sisters friend died in a car crash two years ago and she was only about 22. And if I am in Heaven then the timing of the rapture will not worry me as I will be in Heaven already. But IF you are still alive and have not carked it, would you lose your faith and be disapointed. Me I would be very suprised if Jesus did not raptue the church within 20 years.
