In this video game, society has perfected genetic engineering and computer technology. They take every human being and perfect them genetically. They are super strong, fast, intelligent, eternal, and can survive in almost any environment in the universe. They then implant a computer chip into every persons brain that connects them to a huge super computer that contains all human knowledge. This super computer acts as the government and can read the mind of every last human being and makes the fairest governmental choices based on every persons thoughts. It is never ending peace. They assume in this game that the super computer is not being corrupted by human greed. Ultimate freedom, or ultimate slavery???

Hey, I've been wandering around a bit lately, and am looking for some good book ideas.

I've been putting off getting a copy of the Satanic Bible, as well as some of Crowley's books, and I wanted to know if The Satanic Bible was worth reading first, or should I save it till last.

Also, would it be new material, or simply "Hedonism," this and "Atheism," that?

Thanks in advance.

My gf and I and another couple of our friends went to France, While in paris we had planned on going to Monets house which is about a 45 min train ride outside of Paris and we'd been talking bout this for awhile now. These friends of ours Deanna (wears the pants and makes the decisions) and Chris decide 5mins before we were going to leave that she didnt want to go and went up to my gf and I and said do you mind if i dont come. So she doenst come and doesnt even say I'm sorry or give any reason or anything. Just so she and her bf could go roaming around and do nothing all day. This was the last day of the trip and we had 11 days of this trip already and we were all planning on going to Monet's house. Whats your take on the way she went about this, was it rude?

A generally accepted definition of faith is that it's believing in something that cannot be proven. But don't fundamentalist Christians believe that Scripture is the literal word of God? Don't they take this as proof of everything they believe about God? If something is proven, then it does not require faith to believe it. Does this then mean that fundamentalist Christians are people without faith?

Here's an example of what I'm saying: The existence of God cannot be proven. If I believe in him without proof, then I have faith. If fundamentalist Christians believe that the bible is proof of everything they believe about God, then no faith is required. They have proof. Does this mean they are people without faith?

Well let me ask you this, do you believe love is real? It could be the love of a mother for a child or the love between two lovers. I bet your answer is yes but have you ever actually seen love before. No you haven't, but you know it is real. Or have you ever seen the wind before? Sure you have seen it cause the trees and objects to move but you have never actually seen the wind before, yet you believe it is real. So why not believe in the God who made all these things?

As an avid traveler, I get easily tired of hearing the utterly inaccurate stereotype that most all Americans are white... as in blonde, blue/green eyed, it's just not realistic. I'm Italian, Albanian and Native American and my family has been here for generations; I know VERY few Americans who are naturally blonde, light-eyed, can't keep a tan, and who aren't mixed with another race (such as Native American). How did this get started? And what do you see when you think of the US? I'm hoping this long-lived stereotype will fade so the world will see the real colors and heritage of the US.

Would nursing homes care if I came once a week for two hours to teach the patients how to make origami? I'm a junior in high school and I would visit each patient seperately and teach them how to make a simple origami figure. Keep in mind this is in a small town,

So I was at the mall today and walked into a store and one of the most beautiful women I've seen greeted me. We flirted a bit (or so it seemed...) and I bought a shirt. After I was done shopping, I wondered whether or not I should've gone back and got her number. How am I supposed to find a girl?? Why is it so hard to be a lesbian and date??

I see so many responses to questions on here implying that we humans are inherently greedy, sinful or flawed in some way that trying to attain a better or different kind of society is a waste of time and energy. In the last few years our attitudes to the place of women in Western culture has been changing radically. Is that not an example of a change in "human nature"? The same can be argued for racist attitudes. What do you think?

.......in the first place? What was the reason for their existence since there were so many millions of them...... They had their own food chain, how long was the earth around before this do you think? And why did God not meantion them in elaborate detail in the "bible" since there were so many of them, millions, assumingly lying dead all around when they were all suddenly struck dead only about 6-10 thousand years ago????
