Sure, I have taken at least five pens....and once I took a rubberband too.

I used to take home satchels full of papers to be graded. That's about it.
On the other hand, because I taught in a school, it's not as if I was tempted by the rubber bands, copier paper or chalk.
Now, if I had worked as a diamond cutter...!

Oh yes. I've taken insults, dirty looks, b. s. snotty answers, and just plain abuse.
And you should witness what the dern computer throws at me.
I need to go back to work for somebody else. It's the pits being my own boss.
I especially hate it when I steal postage stamps from myself and find I've run out of em on bill-paying day.

Would you believe me if I told you no? I have though. It ranges from screwdrivers and pens to some fixturing pieces. Lots of goofy little things ans tons of pins... I do try to return it all about once a month.

I suspect it would be very difficult to find someone who hasn't taken anything - staples, paper clips, pens, etc.
