I don't think of any ethnicity when I think of the US... the US is clearly a nation of many ethnic groups and that is shown clearly.

I see white people. Not blonde, most have some shade of brown hair, and eyes are varied. I have lived most of my life in a town that is this way. In my town there are also a lot of Mexicans, but in my job and at school, I didn't run in the same circles. There are just 2 separate societies here.
We see the world differently depending on where we live. When I went to Atlanta, almost everyone was black.

Well, I guess I'm classified as "white"...or, that is what I put on a form when it asks me my ethnicity. But I do not look it. I have dark hair, dark eyes, and I am naturally tan....my mother however is a blond with blue eyes. When I think of the US I think of people from all different cultures.....we all have a little bit of something else in us (I think). There isn't many people who can say that they are 100% something.

when I think of the US...I think of all ethnicities, after all America is the "melting pot". I also get annoyed and offended when I hear stereotypes such as all Americans are obese and drink soda and eat fast food. It's completely inaccurate, yet people in other countries believe it's true.

If you want to see the dominant ethnic group in a country, just look at who makes up the government. Invariably foreign perception of the majority ethnicity will line up with that group. When I look at the US I think of somewhat religious white protestants, and correct me if I'm wrong but that's probably the group that makes up the majority of your government too.

I don't have to look at all America just to see color.
I can look across the table at Thanksgiving dinner.
My family is mostly Irish/Scottish-French/Am.Indian.
But in the last 50 years we have added, Black,
Latin, German, English, Chinese and Mexican.
So, I guess our family sees the good old US as a Rainbow.

What i see and what should be are two diffrent things. The US should be people of European descent. English, german, italian, britsh, irish, swiss, u get the point. The blacks should live in africa. the asians should live in asia. the hispanics in the hispanic countries. basically...the countries should refelect the race of their president or leader.
