I am a believer that interracial marriages can and do work out. It happens each day. What I also know is that interracial marriages, even today are often viewed with hatred. With that said, this is also more baffling: Interracial marriages between many different people are often viewed with hateful controversy, but in particular, interracial marriages between a black man and a white female are viewed with particular spite and hatred. Why is this?

If this God puts a condition on his love how can he be said to love unconditionally?
After all it hardly seems loving to torture anyone that is not part of the correct religion!

Are people who act, think and behave differently than "normal Americans" more likely to be fired or not promoted? Living in the south I tend to notice business don't like people who are different and view them as a threat to the corporate culture.

I once went to an interview and I mentioned all the things I'm doing in life (investing, traveling, etc) when ask about myself and the interviewer stop and asked "why don't you do that stuff after you get married?" Being the smart *** that I'm sometimes I told her "I don't put my life on hold over society's fluff!!!" Needless to say that ladies eyes look like a deer in headlights situation!!!!! I wasn't interested in the job really. More looking for the job hunter miles driven tax write-off anyway.

But anyway can being different cost you alot in corporate America?

This may seem like a strange question, to which i probably know the answer, but since so many Christians support the Iraq War and George Bush claims to follow the word of Jesus, does that mean that Jesus would have been 100% behind the Iraq War, if he were alive today?

get the day off or get holiday pay..... I mean, the point is to compensate you for the inconvenience of being away from your family right?? If you don't celebrate, it's not an inconvenience. You're taking money under false pretenses.

I just had a bad Christmas... I couldn’t figure out what to give my boyfriend and he wasn’t giving me any hints... So I ended up giving him something small. He ended up spending something like $500 on my gifts which made me sad and kinda angry. Because it made my gift look like crap and one sided so after about the 5th gift I didn’t want to open anymore because I was sad and tears began to stream. I told him I couldn’t accept the $460 in gifts and asked him to return them. Did this happen to anyone else and how did you handle it? I’m sure I handled it the wrong way.
