First of all, God is spelt with a capitol G. Anything else is an insult to Him.
As He is my Heavenly Father, there is no need to cringe. He loves me. He does not like the sins I may do, but He is a forgiving person. When He forgives someone, He then does not know what you have done. Those sins are thrown into the sea of forgetfulness. If you have accepted His Son Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, there is no need to cringe before God. Another name for Him is Abba. This means 'Daddy.'

The lord has defined his word as a steel rod may times. It is a good definition something you can hold on to that will guide you thought the times you cannot see the support when you cannot walk by your self and the surety that you have a hold of something that will support you with out fail.

God is far too great to understand.He has no beginning and no end.There is no place where His presence is not felt.The Word was God...The Word was made flesh.God's names reveal His character...Jehovah-the Self-Existent One.First used with God as the Creator;Elohim-the Strong One;Adonai-Master;I Am that I Am.He is the all-knowing God,all-Powerful,the Creator of Heaven and earth.God is a Spirit and and the worshippers must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.God reveal Himself to people to save them in times of great need.God is Holy.God Himself is a giver.He gave His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.There is only One God in three persons.God the Father,Son and Holy Spirit.God the Father appeared in the Old Testament and spoke to Godly men like Abraham,Moses and many others.God revealed Himself through His Son Jesus Christ in the New Testament.After His resurrection He was taken up to heaven and gave us the Holy Spirit,the Comforter to convict us and to guide us in righteosness.God reveal His Power through the Cross(His unfailling love for us sinners)Cross simbolized our freedom from satan.Through the shedding of blood there is remission of sins.Blood of Christ cleans us from guilt,it sanctifies us.Blood brings us close to God.The Blood brought us purity of heart,eternal life.Through the Blood there is redemption.

God is one supreme power, in which you pray him in whatever shape you want it to be. You can choose it as allah or jesus or shakthi or shiva or anyone whom you think is god. Sure god can make us happy.
But is it our expectations in all sutiation which makes us to think and whatever we expect, god will do offcourse. sometimes people get lazy by asking him everything. So he teaches lessons to us daily life that expectations is not the answer, it is hardwork. We set out mind that god does some magical things in life. He does, but not by making us lazy.
So it is upto your understanding and following it, you take things in different view. If you feel god did not help you. Think what wrong you would have done. The wrong can be by action or your thinking. God is giving time to relise and rectify our mistakes in life. It does not mean that god is not helping you. So think and act to the sutiation, it is all god wants from us to do for our better life.

God is a title. However, to a lot of people it's a name. This leads to the word "God", in this culture, automatically referring to Yahweh-- the ancient tribal monster-idol of the ancient Hebrews. We need a better God-concept than that.
