Real punk. 80's punk. I'm 14, and of course you true 80's punk people are gona say I have no idea what Im getting into. You're pretty much right. So help me. I'm sick of sh*tty a** new age 'punks.' They are pissing me off and I bearly have any right to talk. Help me. Teach me something about what punk was like 30 years ago.

It's my friend's birthday on New Year's eve, and she wants a big party with a lot of her friends, or atleast something crazy fun and exciting. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for really awesome fun stuff to do! I'd like to get some friends together and go out to eat and dress up a little, then go back to watch the ball drop and drink some champagne, but I want some more options. Anyone have any good ideas, i'm in desperate need!!!!!

Why does God give the best of both worlds (Earth/Heaven) to some people (those who are rich, healthy, well fed, good family, and will go to Heaven)

And then other people he gives much less worlds on earth while going to heaven (handicaps, deafness, malnutirtion, disease, seperated family, etc)

And then other people he gives much less worlds on earth and go to hell because they suffer greatly from their defects and they refuse to believe their is a God because of it?

I know there is a verse that states hardly any rich man will enter the kingdom of God, but even for the minority that do, is that not unfair to live so propsperously compared to others "All Around?" Or is it that difficult to live a Godly life when you are rich?

My daughter died on 6/19/2006. She was 2 months old and a preemie. She never even got to come home. I need to believe that I will see her again and I want to have more kids but why did God take my baby? I did everything right and her death was totally unexpected. She was fine until she got a stomach infection. Please help me. Especially with the holidays here I ask why everyday.

I know Jesus was a real person and I'm not saying he was or wasn't a figure/representative of "god", but the bible specifically states that Jesus was Mary's "firstborn son". Did Mary ever give birth again? If so, how many times and what was the child[ren]'s name[s]?

I keep seeing this accusation thrown up to Christians as an excuse not to believe the Bible on any given Scriptural topic.
Part 2 of my question: What is going on in organized or non-denominational religion if anything to promote this idea or is it competely unfounded? I really would like to know if this is just a lame excuse or if most organized churches are more about begging money for a church building or minister or some such? I do not worship mammon myself and have no idea if any responder here has any money to give to any church and I don't belong to an organization with head-quarters of anykind. Would unbelievers not be more interested in attending a church where the giving was love inspired without pressure instead of on old covenant law bondage? (Figure that one out yourself!)

I have been on here a lot today, reading about the joys of "Christ in Christmas", or why people are "taking the Christ out of Christmas". Do people not realize that Christmas as we know it started as a Pagan winter holiday? And for the people who say it's "Christ's Birthday", have they never read the bible? While I don't raise sheep, I've always been told that they are hearded in the spring, not the dead of winter, and according to the historians who have studied the bible say "Jesus Christ" was born in the spring. When else would the shepards have been hearding their flocks like they were supposed to have been doing when Christ was born? When the Catholic church first began and they were trying to convert Pagans to Christianity they took over the Pagan holidays to make the conversion easier and so there would be less fighting the inevitable. Yule became Christmas Ostara became Easter and so on. *sigh* Why do people not work to understand where their traditions and rituals come from?
