Birth Control is not a sin. Some people believe having sexy outside of marriage is a sin. I honestly think that birth control is what you make of it. My uncle (a catholic priest) told me that birth control is only a sin if you view it as such. I believe in some cases it can be a good thing. If you're having problems like that then yeah..I can see where it's mecidine versus using it as a way to sleep with every guy on the block. I don't think it's so much what it's used for, but how you use it.

I can only speak for myself...and I don't think birth control is a sin. I've never seen that in the Bible and never heard any of my other Christian friends say anything like that. And besides, God knows your heart- he knows why you take birth control. It would be wrong if you were taking it so you could go sleep around with a bunch of people, but I wouldn't think people should judge you because you need them because of your period.

Trust me I know what you mean! I've been taking birth control since I was 14 and I have only ever had one experience with a pharmacist that didn't want to fill it because of his religious beliefs. So I asked him what he would do if he had a period for 14 days straight but there was a pill to make it not so what would he do and he filled my prescription in 10 minutes! =)

Birth Control is not a sin for Christians; It is the Catholics that are anti birth control.

Birth control is not a sin, the problen that the churches see is that with controlling birth, women will engage in sinful sexual relationships.

Don't let anyone sway you their way. Only you and the Lord can answer that question. It could be different for every person on the planet. God gave us all that we have because He loves us and wants us to be happy. Of course we don't know what is best for ourselves. But God in His greatness and wisdom cares for everyone indivdually. He answers you according to your hearts desire. Some people desire alot of children. Some people don't.
God doesn't expect everyone to have a house full of children.
And that is why He allowed you to have birth control. Yes some people take it to the extremes but keep your heart right and God will surely work for you to give you your hearts desire.

It's not a sin. That's not in the Bible.
Abortion is far worse.
I think God would rather you not get pregnant than get pregnant and then get an abortion.
Have control over your own body.

I DONT THINK BC IS A SIN. BUT SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE IS. GOD KNOWS YOUR THOUGHTS AND YOU KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT AND WRONG. IF YOU TAKE IT TO HAVE SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE YOU MAY HAVE A PROBLEM. IF FOR A MEDICAL REASON THEN I WOULD SAY YOU ARE NOT SINNING AGAINST GOD.
