The Zen master/teacher at one of the Zen monasteries in the U.S. spoke about an incident when he was a student. He had this anger in him about something and, when he saw his old Zen teacher walking towards him, he quickly put on a serene, spiritual face. When he passed the teacher, he bowed and gave a serene smile. When the teacher was 3 steps past him, the teacher made a puking sound because he saw through the delusion and the mask. This made the student even angrier. But it ultimately allowed him to see the ego masks that we put on and to see what he was doing. Can anyone relate in their daily lives?

No, seriously, why do these people become broken. We know many of them commit crimes, or get fat and ugly, or overdose, plus many of them are stupid. Rachel Ray is fat, Nicole Ricchie is in jail, and there are many others that are just not where they should be. Why do we even let these people become famous if this just keeps on happening. If we're goning to keep these people, I say we fix them, and pre-arrange their marriages to prevent them from getting divorced all the time. These people need serious help: mental, emotional, and physical from all of these temporary mariages, eating disorders, false religions (scientology, kabbalah) spoiled lifestyles, and drug abuse we keep on hearing so much about. No wonder why people view our country as depraved and wrong. If we're goning to fix our image, then we might as well fix our celebrities. Please suggest what we can do to help them. Let's call everybody and have them operateon each and every body part, like the machines they are.

It seems that the earliest Christians (those who actually met Jesus) believed only that his soul had been ressurected, not his physical being. Were they wrong? The idea of an actual "physical resurrection" of a corporeal Jesus was apparently invented many years later.... look it up!

I keep seeing posts distinguishing between "weak" atheists and "strong" atheists, both of which are different from agnostics. Agnostics sit on the fence and say it's not possible to know whether a god exists (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not one). "Weak" atheists say that there is no evidence to support a belief in god, but would look seriously at any evidence if it came along. "Strong" atheists, apparently, are CERTAIN that there is no god and would not consider any evidence to the contrary.

I'm as certain as it's posssible to be that there is no god but I know of no atheist who would refuse to consider evidence if it was presented. That's what atheists go by - evidence. Even Richard Dawkins acknowledges that he would scientifically consider evidence for god if it was forthcoming. So would I.

Did god bless us with the power to love? or did he bless us with the power to love others? Does it take two to love? What does love mean? just a way of really liking someone. If so why do they call it love, is love special, what is it? what does it mean? love is more than likeing someone. back to adam and eve, he sent them down because they disobeyed him, why does he forgive us then? he created man and woman to love, to make eachother happy and share their life together, is that why we have life? is that why we have a heart, to love others? and why do you think he created a earth and put us on it, and created man and woman, he did it so man and woman could have kids, so they can love, not for the wrong reasons. Do you think he put us on earth to love, and what is love, how god calls it?

How do I get someone famous. I was hoping Leann Rimes would out of the goodness of her heart help me but after 2 emails, 3 phone calls and 7 faxed letters no response. I really need someone famous so we can raise money but believe it or not even the American Idols want $75,000, you would think they would at least feel for us. I am trying to raise money for our community seniors that have to decide between paying bills, paying for life needed medications and food. They don't have enough money to make it to the end of the month. I am open for suggestions.

Anyone famous out there wanting to help? Let me know

There is something going on with the youth these days. There is this new thing with young girls kicking boys between the legs at school. It appears to be primarily the middle school aged. I have seen a few YA questions about it, I thought it was nothing then. Someone i know who is a middle school teacher told me that the girls at the school actually make it a game and keep count. Thats crazy to me. Have any of you heard about this, and if you have what do you think about this. Is this just a harmless phase, or is it going to have some serious pyschology affects for the girl and the boy who was kicked. What do you think?
