That doesn't sound loving to me.
I don't understand.

I wouldn't want to support anything that would do such things to people.

God is just made up by man, and hell is just a place of fiction to threaten your soul unless you give in and become a sheep.
freethinkers are damned to hell. not by "God"

You do not understand like most of us. It's not like a pit and all the heaven bound people just stand and watch and say I told you so.

What Jesus truly was saying was not all on earth are from earth and those that do not choose him will stay on earth and the earth will be a ball of fire, and the heaven bound will be transported to another world to try again,

Kinda sounds like the world we live in, you have to try this, look at the bible as a book of claims, and I will give you an easy one.

In the bible, God gave the Israelites a Nation or land, now that's a claim. How does that claim come to life A/ God believing people believe it so it must be true. See, what about god, he said we are to rule over all the animals, So were ****** and Indians just plain animals or did the god believing people just agreed and it became so

By Jove! I think you've got it.

Got what?

You have figured out what happened on Planet H (Heaven) after the Bible was written.

Does some Bubba preacher think that the Bible was written and then "time stood still" in Heaven? How boring! And, What an insult to God would that be.

Of course when Jesus returned to Planet H the COG (council of government) disbanded "Hell" and limited Satan to strictly his sales pitch.

smiles- for you , grimace for all Bubba Preachers.

Why would such a priviledged, holy being reject their creator who created them in this world with all the resources to sustain themselves? Not only that; they curse Him and question His existence after all the mercy He has bestowed on them. It's your own damn fault if you don't accept His grace. The door is open. All you have to do is walk through. Peace.

If you are good, you go to heaven.

If you are bad, you go to hell.

What does this sound like? Is this a solid adult to adult relationship? Or is it a parent to child relationship? And a brutal one at that?

My point is, don't look at the reward or the punishment but rather look at the relationship. Do you want to have a relationship with the divine that's parent/child? Or do you want this mystical relationship to be adult to adult?

If you choose adult to adult, you won't find anything satisfying in any of the monotheistic religions that we currently have. You will need to look elsewhere. To start, look within.

A loving God wouldn't.
When referring to child-sacrfices made by worshippers of Baal, the God of the Bible said:
"they built the high places of Ba′al in order to make their sons and their daughters pass through the fire to Mo′lech, a thing that I did not command them, neither did it come up into my heart to do this detestable thing."
Jeremiah 32:35.
He never commanded the burning of people.
It never entered his head ....nor heart.
The idea is foreign to Him.
He considers it detestable.

When you work at a job and receive payment for your services, you are being compensated for the action or behavior that you produced. Whether you got paid or not was dependent upon your actions. Likewise, we are judged according to our deeds and receive heaven or hell according to that which we do. It is our own responsiblity to choose how we act.

I believe God continues to call us to him either we realize we can't do it alone and need a Savior and get saved or we continue to ignore him. hence he gives us a million chances to get out of hades free card, the same is offered to serial killers and Saddam hussane, but the chose is ours to listen or ignore. If we choose to follow satan and live our lives for the demons then the rest of eternity, we burn. God can't make us do what he wants us to do, then he wouldn't be a loving God.

God is love itself and it is hard for us to understand his ways. Hell was created for Satan and his fallen angels but it became open to us when Adam & Eve ate from that tree. God doesn't force anybdy into hell but we force ourselves by how we live. God has a universal law in place that says we will reap what we sow or like karma. If karma doesn't get you in this life then it will in hell after you are dead. This law is just like gravity, what goes up must come down. For people who have lived sinful lives and who don't acknowledge Jesus as Lord must go to hell before they can ever be with God. God absolutely hates sin and he deals with it in one of two ways, 1) by us asking forgiveness from him and accepting his son Jesus as our savior ( Our sins are never remembered again by God) or 2) not accepting Jesus and continuing to live sinfully (suffer in hell away from God).

People think of hell as forever in terms of earthly time but the truth is that people will stay there until they have paid all their debts for their sins and will come out one day. There is no way to measure time in hell so it is like forever or eternity but there is hope for getting out once you have paid for all your sins. The bible says this.
