How do I get someone famous. I was hoping Leann Rimes would out of the goodness of her heart help me but after 2 emails, 3 phone calls and 7 faxed letters no response. I really need someone famous so we can raise money but believe it or not even the American Idols want $75,000, you would think they would at least feel for us. I am trying to raise money for our community seniors that have to decide between paying bills, paying for life needed medications and food. They don't have enough money to make it to the end of the month. I am open for suggestions.

Anyone famous out there wanting to help? Let me know

Try this website: www.benevon.com. It talks about how to have an inexpensive event that doesn't take a lot to arrange and raises A LOT of money. You don't need to have a fancy concert, you just need to talk to people about what you do and raise money that way. People will give if you ask them.

First of all, I wonder that have you ask the government for some money? Because base on what you wrote, I think the government should help sick elder people because they are elder and also sick. What can they do?

If after you have called, fax, and even called the famous singer and there is no reply, try to call them one more time. May be they are busy. If you have been trying and calling them for awhile and if there is still no answer then I guess that they don't want to help you.

I think that if no one help you, then instead of doing a performent with a famous singer you can ask some performer who don't need to be so famous. Because first of all it will save you a lot of money, thus you will have more left over money to help the elders. If you ask for a famous performer then there wouldn't any left over money to help the sick elder. Because in my opinion i think that if people want to help the sick elders, then i don't think they will mind whether the performer is famous or not. (you could make a survey to ask people whether they mind if the performer is not so famous. for me, i don't mind at all because the performance is to help the elders, not enjoy ourselves.)

Second suggestion I would like to say is that may be you don't need to do a performance but instead you could do some baking and sell to other people and make some sign telling other that these money willl help the sick elder people.

hope either one of these suggestions help. good luck.
