Catholics who go to confession are a little missinformed. The atholic church has devised a real money maker through making their congregations give money by guilting them. The bible tells us in 1 John to "confess" our sins. In greek the word "confess" means to ACKNOWLEDGE them. Christ paid the penalty for ALL our sins on the cross. Future, Past, Present. Please people wake up and just try a bible church and feel the love of Christ as God would have you feel not as some well paid Pope thinks you should feel.

Has anyone heard of this? (what am I saying, I am sure you have) I watched this show where they mentioned this, and said that there is probably as many as 50 other gospel's not included in the bible.

WHY? What does this say? What about the others?

I thought it was very interesting that when Penn Jillette appeared on Comedy Central's the Colbert Report he was censored while saying there was no Santa, Easter Bunny, or Tooth Fairy... But he was not censored when he said "there is no god."

It's a show specifically for an adult audience, I'm supirsed that anything was censored at all. More people should be as outspoken as Penn Jillette on issues of reality. Censorship of this kind is just plain silly.

Rev. Jerry Falwell says that aliens are the devil´s angels.

My wife was abducted by aliens from Zeta 2 Reticuli.

I was not a witness to her abduction. At the time she was living in the dirty hut out the back of our place. The dirty hut isolates her when she is unclean with her menstruation. We are Born Again Christians. When I unlocked the chain and padlock on the door of the dirty hut 5 days later, my wife was very distressed and dehydrated.

She had been beamed up to a spaceship. Janus, the leader, subjected her to cerebral needle examination and anal probes.

Janus said his cousins have a civilisation within the earth´s crust which is very advanced, although they do not yet have a remote control for the television.

My wife didn´t ask if Janus was an angel of the devil, in case he gave her more anal probes.

From a christian perspective, what are aliens from outer space? Do you think the Rev Falwell is correct?

I'm trying to come up with one more gift to give my coworker this week. I like to give gifts every day. So far I've come up with the following:

Today: poinsettia and a fortune plant (as the plant grows it give you a fortune though I'm not sure how)
Tomorrow: a jarred candle with a candle warmer
Wednesday: an angel ornament and peppermint bark
Thursday: ?
Friday: handmade jewelry (I make beaded jewelry so this is last because it will give me away.)

Any creative ideas for Thursday?

If Hitler or Stalin were alive today, right infront of you, would you support their death of penatly? Before you voice your opinion, let me voice mine - I don't support it. Not because I feel sorry for Hitler or Stalin, but think about it, does revenge ever bring anything good? Let's say we shoot Hitler/Stalin, do we get a better world? No. Do those dead arise? No. Do we protect ourselves from future dictators? No. So whats the point? Vengeance? Mind I remind you that because of vengeance hunderds of people die in Palestine? Using the same philosophy death-penalty supporters use, which is "When someone kills someone innocent, he should be killed". Dont the shiites and sunnites use the same philosophy? Take for an example the killing of shiite colonel's 3 children. The chain of revenge will start and since each side stands on revenging the other, the conflict will never end. Same thing is applied to death-penalty for me. I'd never endorse using the same princles as those who are judged

they always say other religions people are going to hell and that everyone else is sinning and doing wrong while NEVER stopping to think about other points of view or what bad things they are doing wrong? i am a witch and i DO NOT belive in the cristian god or the devil they are made up to make other religions look and seem bad but theyer arnt

Not everyone who SAYS they are a Christian really is. Westboro Baptist Church for example, claim they are Christians, yet they spew hate, and almost advocate killing.

What are some of the ways we can recognize a real christian, from those that simply proclaim it?

Most of their commercials show a man a woman with the man appearing to be totally incompetent. It's clear to me they are catering to the female customers, but I believe that most sales are to men. Anyone else offended by this?

Ah! Someone told me that when I go to this gothic club, that if someone comes up to me and tells me they are going to drain my energy I should run away. They told me they were real life vampires, and later in a concert they made 5 people drop to the ground. How does this work? I want to know more about this "group"
