Don't ask religious questions on this site. I've asked one myself and I was grilled by the atheists, agnostics, and other kiddies with the spiritual maturity of a bumble bee. You'll never get an answer here which is not sarcastic and rude. Rather go to www.ibelieve.com for such questions.

yes i do feel conscious about that. i think being conscious of it is a good thing so it gives a person a chance to choose to do the right thing rather than a wrong thing.
the fact that jesus said "by your words you will be condemned and by your words aquitted" i think means that what a person says (or does) will be important in how they are finally judged by God. i think it is worthwhile to bear this in mind also so that it gives a person a chance that even if they have done something bad, they can try to make up for it somehow.

You can't live your life in a frantic state of "oh my gosh what did I say" all the time, or you'll probably never speak again LOL
I would say that each time you feel bad about something you said, just confess it right then and next time try to catch yourself.
That's what I do. Remeber he knows what's in your heart also. God looks into the heart of an individual.

I am a new creature (a new creation) in Christ Jesus. I am not self-conscious that God knows my thoughts.
My thoughts are different from before I became saved. When my old nature tries to creep in, I cast down those thoughts. I am the one in control of my mind.
Does that mean that I don't goof up? No, it means that I want a different life than I had before.
When we allow Jesus into our hearts...our minds change as well as our hearts. It's not as hard as you may think.

This is very deep! Don't worry so much!
IF God exists, he has millions of other thoughts to monitor, I'm sure he won't be focusing exclusively on one person! Also, nobody is perfect. I am sure if you truly regret a thought or action and seek forgiveness it will be granted to you.

No. Even if i by accident think of something that i shouldn't, i know God knows that i was going to do and that he would, if i asked him to stop thinking about it, would help me. And God is, like my best friend, there is nothing that i think about that makes me feel self-conscious. or embarrassed.

That's called paranoia. If there was a god, and he was in my brain, I would not feel ashamed for a single thought or word spoken.

I'm not at all self-conscious, because I don't believe in god. Makes life so much more enjoyable!

You can prevent Jesus from monitoring your thoughts by wrapping your head with aluminum foil.

I just try not to 'cuss' or to dwell on sinful things. As you think, you are. To think, I mean to dwell on it, be obsessed with it. Also, be careful what you ask for, you might just get it. Just have a more 'lay back' attitude. Good luck.
