The following verses of Revelations refer to God as having seven spirits: 3:1, 4:5, 5:6. Why does God have seven spirits? Isn't God a trinity?

If you don't believe me, here are the aforementioned verses.

3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

I know that looks like a stupid question but I'm really not sure. I'm attracted to to both men and women. I want to be with man and not a women but when I think of being with a man I can't picture being intimate or kissing, but I can with a women. I've had a one time experiance too when I started high school a few years ago. I don't want to think like that but I can't help it. I don't have a problem with anyone that is gay but I don't want to be that way. I want to get married and have a family. It's just this whole comfort thing. Feeling more comfortable intimately with a women over a man. I'm just really confused and would like all your insight.

Three words you should show me where Jesus (pbuh) says in his own words "I AM GOD", not 'i am' 'you and i are one'.

I want to see three explicit words "I AM GOD" if you can find it imma christian.

Where is it in ANY version of the bible?

I know that if some one is trying to kill you and you kill them it is not a sin but what if you put your self in deaths way like lets say I am robing something and a cop comes up and pulls a gun on me and shoots is it a sin to kill the cop just saying does not have to be a cop just want useing him as an example

I wouldn't say I was a Christian
Although I went to a CofE school

But all the same it worries me that soon the UK could be a Muslim state

Businesses shops and people who are christians are being forced to not show symbols of their religion etc.
Muslems are building moscs here and if we say anything about them its classed as discrimination

Christianity as a whole is dying out in this country and I fear that soon our children will not get christian religious education and Islam will be our prominent religion
It must be pretty close already

I know which I'd rather have

Isn't it about time we stood up for Christianity?

Chrisitans worship a man as their god and savior.
ancient egyptians used to worship pharoah as their god and savior.

Jesus (pbuh) was a man, Pharoah was a man.

The only difference is pharoah SAID "WORSHIP ME" "I AM GOD" and Jesus (pbuh) NEVER SAID THAT.

A few days ago, I posted a request on here for prayer for my dad. The CT scan he had done showed a mass on his pancreas- he's been extremely sick for a few weeks now. I'm trying to remain positive until we get the biopsy results, but honestly, I'm terrified. I've been praying constantly- and I'd like other believers to pray too, if you would. This is one of the hardest situations I've been faced with- I don't want my parents to know how worried I am- they're trying to remain positive, too. I wish I had someone to talk to, but my husband is (I hate to say this) being a jerk about it. His mom had cancer about 10 years ago (she had surgery and is doing great now). Everytime I try to talk to him about how I feel, his response is "Well, now you know how I felt when my mom was sick." I've stopped trying to talk to him- I just roll over in the bed at night and cry until I fall asleep.

My sister-in-law has decided that she will not baptise her son because she wants him to make up his own mind about what religion to follow. She says that she does not believe in God, god or gods. But,..... (typical) she puts up a Christams tree, buys presents, Easter Bunny comes to her house, loves Valentines Day (named after a saint), St Patricks day.... I feel that she is not teaching her son about religion, just commercialism. She does not feel comfortable when I read my children "A Christmas Story" because it is about the birth of Jesus. I want to include her son, my nephew, with the up bringing of my children and the values I'm trying to give them, but I do not know what to do. How can he choose if he is not educated.

I'm not saying my religion is the one for him. And I also teach my children about Hanukkah, Festival of Lights, Kwanzaa, and Ramadan (education brings acceptance)
