I spent an hour last night with my black boyfriend listening to comic after comic make fun of people of my race. I know this has been addressed before but then I think not because I'm not sure how many white people actually watch BET enough to know how we are spoken of. If a black person were to watch George Carlin or Jeff Foxworthy talk about lynching someone in a joke, how would that go over? Wouldn't the NAACP be up in arms in a split second? Wouldn't Al Shartpton and Jessie Jackson rush to speak out against the injustice? C'mon people. Remember Rodney King, second only to Martin Luther King in his sentiment - "Can't we all just get along?"

Pray for me?
I'd like to ask for your prayers. My family and I are having a very difficult time right now financially- we're struggling just to pay our bills, much less buy gifts for Christmas. My great Uncle just passed away and my mother and I both recently lost our jobs. I'm also having problems with depression and though I know God will see me through, I'm feeling kind-of hopeless lately. Kind thoughts and prayers would be SO appreciated!

I have only been going out with my boyfriend for two weeks now and Christmas is coming. Anyway, I asked him what he likes and he always answers with cigerattes. Point, I don't want to contribute to bad health. So I is this a good gift?

Brownies, A Coffee Mug (he drinks coffee), A Homeade Card with chocolate attached as well as One OR Two flavoured cigars. Now, he likes cigerattes WAY MORE than cigars. But if I attached two cigerattes that would be way cheap that I didn't get him a whole pack. Right? Anyway are the two cigars CHEAP of me?
