Actually, and in complete sincerity, Yes.

If there is a god and if he is judgemental then I have no doubt that we will respect deeds and actions above faith and devotion.

But that's just my opinion.

I thought the Good Lord of the New Testament was into forgiveness instead of smiting.

I won't be let off because I am good. In truth I sin as much as anyone else. I think I will be allowed to enter the gates of Heaven because I am forgiven and I honestly try to correct what I do that is wrong and be a better person.

To saved, that is to escape 'smiting' God asks that we believe in Jesus Christ his son and his death on the cross of Calvary to cleanse us from sin and make us right with God and also to be Christ-like that is emulate Christ's life on earth.

Mercifully his grace and spirit abounds to help us as do the above as we are human and weak.

By his grace there will be fewer 'smited' than not

No. I hope I'll be let off because knowing what I know now I think I could shape myself into a better human being, and hopefully God will see this. If I don't get off then oh well, in a few short moments I won't remember any of this.

Good actions are just as binding as bad ones, what i mean is that if you do a good deed and feel proud about it and want to be rewarded you are actually binding yourself to that action or thought.what i mean is that you have come in contact with that person again, and that doesnt necesarily mean in this life and this holding back you are dragging all peole concerned back.So the way to sow a good seed do it with humility and not wanting nothing in return

Scripture says to stand proud with your head held high when he comes. There will no doubt be some who will think they are saved but when he comes they will realize that they were fools. He is the Truth in person, they will know.

in a word YES.

even if your God did have some form of power over me (which he does not) Revelations clearly says that men will be judged by their actions in that day that they face the lord. so yes being good will count.

but i really am not worried about that. i have my own gods and it is their opinion that i will worry about.

well i, personally, don't believe in spiritual hierarchies figuring that spirit is above hierarchies since hierarchies are manifestations of animal instinct. however, should there be such a personage as an invisible supreme alpha male and that supreme alpha male is "good" then i don't have anything to worry about.
