Recently there was a question but forth to the Jews concerning their understanding of this verse.

I so enjoyed the honest answers given, that I did some more research into their comments.

Most referenced John 19:37, and said John misquoted Zech 12:10, by adding "him" to the text, thus proving John, Jesus and the NT to be wrong.

In looking at two different Greek interlinears I found that in the original text the word "him" is not there.

Does this help to prove that John did not misquote Zech. 12:10?

It was 2 black officers, 2 white, and 1 hispanic. Do you think that they fired so quickly because the suspects were black or because the suspects were in "hip-hop" style clothes and actions. "Hip-hop" promotes gunplay and violence. Is it time all these "Hip-hop" people grow up and stop acting like fake gangstas or risk getting shot.

I don't see fans of the Godfather Movies acting them out in public......

I found that statement on the website (http://www.repentamerica.com/goodenough.html) and although I knew premarrital sex was a sin I have never heard that it is a sin God will not forgive or one he will condemn a man or woman to hell for. Any information or thoughts?

has there ever been any people (historians, critics) that gave any credibility to the assertation that L Ron Hubbard might have created Scientology simply to demonstrate the "human will to believe," thusly criticisizing all religions. I have never heard this theory until i thought of it myself. It would make sense, in a way, with him being a "science fiction" author, and all.

I mean some of the answers to questions are really non christian like. Name Calling, Judgements, and Condemanation...not very Jesus like I think. Maybe Im wrong. Seems like its only a matter of time before your disappointed. Poor Jesus getting a bad rap from the likes of you. (You know who you are as well.) I hope your wrong about it all for your sake. Cant even follow your own rules...Poor Jesus must really be disappointed with you who do these blasphemous things. Now go pray....

If Jesus died for your sins(rape, murder, ect.) real Christians CAN murder. Why did Jesus died for their sins? Murder is a sin.

The FBI gave the standard profile of a serial killer, He is a person with few friends. He became much more religious just before he started murdering people. After reading all the available studies I could find and studying all the articles in the newspapers for over 30 years, I find what is most outstanding is Serial killers were sexually inhibited by their strong religious upbringing.

Nearly all serial killers are very devout men who were raised by members of Pentecostal sects, fundamentalist Catholics or were 'hard-shell' Baptists and Methodists."

Doesn't Christianity teach that we all fall short of the grace of God?
"fall short"? that could mean 1000 things.

1 Oncologists - as it would mean that there would then be no cancer
2 Sally Traffic of radio 2 and her equivalent traffic reporters for radio and tv - as it would mean that there would be no accidents or traffic hold ups
3 religious leaders/teachers - then there would be no wars (one hopes)
