"the War on Terror" is just a ridiculous slogan. terrorism is guerrilla war, the way poor people wage war. terrorism is a tactic and you can't wage conventional warfare on a tactic.
however, if you can convince a huge segment of a huge wealthy country that a guerrilla war can be won by dropping bombs from high then you've got a perfect never ending no win war that can go on and on for generations feeding the Military Industrial Complex and making billionaires of all the stockholders of the mega corporations that supply the accoutrements of war.

You seem to think we care...lol hahahah
I don't care how many of their people die to fight terrorism.
And you right, We shouldn't have had to fight a war on terrorism.
They let their religion run a muck, and now we have to clean it up.
So what's your point.
Hey here's one for you. An unused weapon is a useless weapon.
If Bush said he wanted to start a war just to get rid of our old stock of weapons.
And to boost the economy to buy new, better and more weapons I'd be all for it.
And call him the most brilliant President we ever had.
See we don't live like those other countries.
They want to live like we do.
We have to make sure they don't.
It's all about survival and OUR freedom, not theirs.
You may think you're on the side of humanity. But you're not when you betray your own people.

No, Bush did not win his war on terrorism. 1) Troops are still in Iraq 2) It's a huge complicated mess 3) innocent people are dying too 4) we should never have gotten involved in a culture that the President did not/ does not understand and probably never will 5)IN OVER OUR HEADS!

Nope. Heck, even the commission he himself hired to analyze the situation in Iraq have informed him that the entire Iraq situation is an unmitigated failure.
Why?
Because the sunnis and shiites in Iraq would literally rather see eveyone dead than living together in peace, all because of a scuffle over the rights of succession because Muhammad (Shame BUH) didn't bother naming a successor, hoping the people would unite under Al-illah (Allah) instead of a ruler.
Kinda makes you wonder how 'divinely inspired' he really was that he made such a huge mistake in judging how humans behave.

Bush, the US and British governments are the number one terrorists of the world. Thus, to win the war on terrorism, the above mentioned will first have to conquer themselves.

Insofar as protecting the US Homeland, Bush's tactics have been highly successful, so far. This war began over 1300 years ago and will continue for centuries more. But it will require many more hard decisions and much more will to win it....

I do not believe that George Walter Bush has yet won his war of terror. Hopefully his successor will continue and the war of terror can continue.
