Humans have over 900 genes in their DNA codes that are no longer active but were active in our ancestors with different lifestyles, and about 70 of these “fossil genes” were abandoned after the split from chimpanzees. This means around 830 “fossil genes” are still in our DNA code and have been there since before the split. In today’s society in the United States DNA evidence (on its own) is concrete enough to convict individuals of murder by connecting their DNA to the crime scene so, is this enough evidence to prove humans evolved from something other than Adam & Eve?

WHITE LIE...But some situations will FORCE YOU TO HAVE TO LIE TO PROTECT YOURSELF OR ANOTHER...FROM JUDGMENT...EX...Did you have sex with him?...(now i feel that is an intrusive question and it is no one's business to know anyway)...believe me i have been asked that...and so have my friends...go figure....you would have to lie...whether you did or not...cuz if you were to say.."I'd rather not say"...they will ASSUME YOU DID...AND BLAB IT ALL OVER THE PLACE??? WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON THAT also ....do you feel it is alright to white lie that won't hurt anyone and will PROTECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS FROM HARM????also i feel it is ok if it's an INTRUSIVE QUESTION...(the world is not a nice place like it us to be..)...people use to respect people's privacy!!!.

my now x-inlaws are wanting me to come to their Christmas dinner. I wasn't exactly accepted when my husband was a live, and emotionally I just don't know if I can handle the holier than thou attitudes of some of the individuals who will be there. I know the decision is mine to make, but maybe if there were some suggestions concerning coping with this situation, I might be more inclined to go. Any ideas?

Doesn't it bother you when people say their is no God and then go out and celebrate christmas?!? Umm, hello! the true meaning of Christmas is the birth of Christ, the SON OF GOD! Before you go claiming there is no God, you better look into what your actions are saying, don't you think? This applies especially to people experimenting with religion... what's your opinion?

I once lived on a farm and was always asked if i have been cow tipping? All of our cows slept while laying down. Is this just a myth or a prank to send someone into a cow field to get chased by a bull? or do some cows sleep satnding up? any info or trus stories will help.

At a summer camp I work at they won't let us sing this song anymore because of the words "Is it true today, that when people pray, we'll see dead men rise..." They argued that that sort of thing doen't happen anymore. Do you agree?

before you take it literally and spread it among yourself as the truth? Wouldn't it be possible some dubious organizations are changing some of the verses, add, subtract just to suit their century scheme of whatever that might be?

I work in a cube farm with incredibly noise-channeling materials (you can hear a pin drop in any cube adjacent to yours) and all day I have to listen to my co-worker baby-babble talk with his girlfriend ("hey gorgeous, oozie boozie boo you are so cute boozie boo you are so sexy cute...") at least 5-6 times a day. Isn't it excessive/co-dependent to talk to your SO/spouse several times a day at work, and obnoxious to subject others to your lovey dovey dribble? Oh and he chews his gum with his mouth wide open and pops bubbles...want to punch through the wall

'Shall I seek a Lord, other than God while He is the Lord of all things?' And no soul earns evil but only against itself; nor does any bearer of burden bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord will be your return, and He will inform you of that wherein you used to differ.

And whoso commits a fault or a sin, then throws the blame thereof on an innocent person, certainly bears the burden of calumny and a manifest sin.

Ok, picture this: you and your sweetie have made reservations at Pepe le Phew's for two. You are looking forward to telling your beloved all about the great new position you may be in line for after the latest company re-org.

You are seated, and are playing with the water and the bread basket, when a family with three small (under 6) children is seated right next to you.

What is your instinctual reaction?

Thanks for playing the game!
