i just got my wife a matching iron and ironing board from the charity shop.How lucky is my wife?

I suggest you smother it thoroughly in grease.

I love the idea of a matching iron and ironing board, last Christmas my hubby bought me a tooth brush, and matching paste, i wish i could have gotton an ironing board.

You're being very inconsiderate,sir,you are a typical male chauvinist pig,at least buy the poor lady a stool so she can sit whilst ironing,after all ,this is 2006,have you never heard of womens rights.I have at least bought my wife a propper present, a really good alarm clock,we don't want her up too late to do my breakfast!

Boy she is pretty lucky... Maybe you'll get some spray starch from her. I say that because I am sure you'll be doing the ironing from now on and we use spray starch on those pesky hard to remove wrinkles. LOL! I'd rethink that gift there buddy if I were you!

Not so lucky as me. My husband bought me a ladder some years ago, to enable me to decorate the stairs and landing easier. At the time, a mate of his said he spoilt me!
