Its always bugged me: why was eating fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil so sinful? All it did was give Adam and Eve knowledge of good and evil, and apparently self-awareness because they realized they were naked and made clothes out of fig leaves? Does this mean that philosophy and self-awareness are evil?

Different churches get caught up in all these details and "we interpret the bible right and you don't". "We're going to heaven and you're going to hell". Maybe as long as you live the way that you interpret it then God will say "I can see how you could interpret it that way and you did the best you could so you get in".Who knows?

Ok, we're not perfect, so we need Jesus. He died for us, and we must accept and love him. Yet, Jesus states that "If you love me, keep my commandments." How is it that Christians say "No, being forgiven doesn't mean that you can do what ever you want," when they all say they fall short everyday? If loving Jesus means keeping His commandments, and no one does, then who's saved? The Bible says over and over that we are only forgiven if we repent. Is the key to heaven through Jesus simply feeling bad about what you do?

I know I'm complaining again, but I just can't take it, why did my parents have to have me at an old age?, my dad was 41 & my mom was 39 or 40. I'm 18, gonna be 19 in a month, & I haven't had a girlfriend yet, not even a date, not even a one night stand, I'm still a virgin, just kissed. I haven't partied yet like typical teens do & i'm in my first year of college, I've only been to ghetto parties where only wabby mexicans go, & ghetto black people go, or just ghetto people overall, I regret going to those type of parties, I live in a boring city where theres nothing to do, only wabby mexicans live here, man I was better off living somewhere else, c'mon, my parents make good money, they have an eduacation, they have their masters & instead they choose to live in a city where the people are of lower class than them & me, well I live in the non-ghetto part of the city, but that doesn't mean I could avoid the wabby mexicans, they are boring, they are ghetto, & they don't party like others.

I really would a apreciate to find the truths and what is meant only in the following to scriptures. I'm having a hard time lately believing that Jesus is God, or Equal to God (the trinity), please just help me figure this out.

Acts 7:55 "But he, being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Jesus standing at God’s right hand,and he said: “Look! I behold the heavens opened up and the Son of man standing at God’s right hand.”..Jesus was standing at GODS right hand???

Matt. 26:39, RS: “Going a little farther he [Jesus Christ] fell on his face and prayed, ‘My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.’” (If the Father and the Son were not distinct individuals, such a prayer would have been meaningless. Jesus would have been praying to himself, and his will would of necessity have been the Father’s will.)

I would apreciate some help figuring out these 2 scriptures to "justify" Trinity

The bible says that God cursed all snakes to slither on their bellies and be stepped on by men for the serpent's part in the original sin. If it was really Satan, then why were all snakes cursed? Or were all snakes created by Satan?

I'ma senior in high school, do you think that it is arrogant to just go up to a group of people out of the blue and ask if you can sit with them at lunch or something like that. I know them all and they all like me and I like all them and I've known them for years even though we're not really close friends but I don't know if that's like inviting myself and it's arrogant and I should just forget it. I mean I'll be out in a few months but I'd really like to spend more time with them
