Blue lights do not have any special meaning that I am aware of. However, they do cast a snowlike glow around a scene and they are very calming. Most people are not aware of the meanings of the colors of lights used at Christmas, they simply go for tradition or something that looks good.
FYI: RED - symbolizes the blood of animals used to keep people alive during the cold of winter AND/OR the blood of Christ
WHITE - Snow and/or purity
GREEN - The evergreen tree and the holly

Don't be fooled into thinking that everytime you see a house with blue lights it's a jewish home. There are lots of peole who think of Elvis' Blue Christmas or folks who think it looks cool to have blue lights. It often just shows personal preference.
Peace!

A lot of people think that it means that the family is Jewish and that they are celebrating Hanukkah. I think that they are just very calming and peaceful. I really like blue lights!

I think they represent "Silent Night". The hue of the blue lights cast a very serene feeling, representative of the night Christ was born.

There was a fad awhile back where people would go with one colour of
lights. No reason. Just silly human beings doing that silly human being
thing.
