Mel Gibson has a martyr complex, didn't you know?

Mel Gibson didn't die in Braveheart, the character he portrayed died. William Wallace was drawn and quartered—strangled by hanging but released near death, emasculated, eviscerated and his bowels burnt before him, beheaded, then divided into four parts (the four horrors) at the Elms in Smithfield. His preserved head was placed on a pike atop London Bridge. That doesn't sound even close to how Jesus died.

Jesus was a real person who died the way the bible states. William Wallace was also a real person who died in the above way.

Get your facts straight before you ask a question.

Every movie Mel Gibson has ever starred in or produced has had a persecution/revenge theme. He's got some serious personal hang-ups.

Actually, Mel Gibson was trying to portray a movie about a Scottish hero. I don't think it was similar to Jesus' death at all.

In Braveheart, he was eviscerated and decapitated. I don't recall Jesus dying in the same manner. HMMMMMM....watch the two movies again, freak.

Well, duh, he's an anti-semitist. He's kind of racist.
I think that he "died" like that, to personally cast a light on himself.
Others will disagree, but Mel Gibson is a little insensitive when it comes to other peoples religeon.
