Impossible to write a '10 Catholic commandments' that doesn't violate the Bill of Rights.

Freedom of religion and speech is in direct contrast to 'lord's name in vain', and 'thou shalt have no false gods before me...', and 'keep holy the sabbath'.

So unless you're willing to change the catholic religion to allow other religions, you can't have a catholic 10 commandments and the US Constitution in agreement.

The basis for the Ten Commandments was to expose sin. The only new commandment Jesus ever endorsed was the commandment of love. If you walk in love towards others, you will not desire to do them harm in any fashion. This in itself fulfills the Ten Commandments

Have you been able to keep the 10 we are given so well that you need some more. God has not changed any. Remember He created everything and know the number of hairs on your head. Do you really think we have advanced past Him. Come now.

Not a thing wrong with the old ones. No need to change, they still work today just as well as they did when Moses brought them down from the mountain.

The Bible says " Do not add or take away from the word of God"
We cannot add or take away parts of the Bible to fit our needs and wants. But sadly, this is what certain religions do:(
