Are you stocking the deck in your favor by being so dapper in church? Wearing lots of bling bling will not altar your place in Heaven, but the skirt does make you appear more angelic. Please say halo to your minister and tell hymn I send my regards.

The phrase is "nattily dressed." It means you are dressed well and have no obvious dressing problems such as buttons falling off or paper stuck to the bottom of your shoe, etc.

They were telling you that you were dressed nice. Maybe you just didn't understand their accent.
