If I one day would like to live in Europe as a translator or interpreter or something of that sort, which language would be the most advantageous to learn in college: French, Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese? I have alwyas wanted to live in Paris or Madrid and already know a bit of Spanish. If you could tell me your opinions and why you think the way you do that would be great! thanks so much!

Long story, but I finally feel I can't deal with "normal" jobs much longer. Am no oil painting, but "brush up well", am loving and giving, my partner is permanently impotent and I need money, to put it bluntly. If I can keep it from my daughter, is there any reason why not? I mean violence, really, past caring re the moral side.

I respect everyone's opinion, but I thought the opinion of the following would carry more weight. This is not meant to provoke you, just in case you may interpret it that way. Following are SCIENTISTS WHO BELIEVE/D IN CREATION. The list is much longer, and the source that lists more scientists who believe in creation is given at the end of this question. Even the list at this website is not nearly exhaustive. What do you think?

EINSTEIN: “Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind”.

Some people might want to know more of him. The muslims have quite a bit of information about him. Assuming that His Father is the Heavenly father whom had sent Jesus as saviour to the world. Lets take a look at what is his sole purpose visiting this earth.

http://www.netmuslims.com/info/prophets.html

There are also information of Adam, Ishmael, Joseph, Moses, Ezekiel, David, Solomon, and lastly Muhammad.

Click on Jesus and relate what you've known by the Bible.

For the sake of asking ques, knowing Islam uses the prophets that stated in the Bible, is Allah(swt)(God) the moon god?

If you call GOD the moon god it means Jesus's Heavenly Father (God) is the moon good too does that makes sense?

Women seem to get the brunt of the work on holidays. Whether thanksgiving or christmas - which one is tougher on the woman? I say it is Thanksgiving. The reason is that there is much more focus on the meal. The woman is often judged on her culinary, domestic, and hostess duties on that meal. While I realize Christmas is a tough month, when it comes to the single day, I think Thanksgiving is tougher because of the big meal. Presents on Christmas divert attention from the meal.

How would you describe the Trinity for someone who either didn't believe, or who was just beginning to explore Christianity?

I cannot believe the number of answers on here from straight girls and women who, when asked what they would do if they found out a boyfriend or husband was gay or bisexual, say 'get tested for HIV', or advise other women to leave a bisexual partner in case he 'gives them AIDS'.

Has something happened in the education system recently, so that children are being taught that straight people cannot get or pass on the HIV virus?

To these women: you are at risk of catching and passing on the virus if YOU have unprotected sex with ANYONE unless they've been tested negative first. And unless you know every single partner that your man has had, and know that every single one of them was negative, YOU are doing more to spread the virus than most of the gay and bisexual community, who are in the main far more informed, educated and careful.

Does anyone know how on earth this ignorance can be so widespread in this day and age?

If there was no bible. If all Christians had were the 10 commandments. Would their be a lot less politics in church? Would the simplisity of the faith bring Christians closer to God? If all Christians had to do was live by the 10 commandments, how would that change Christianity?

Why make these commandments when there is always going to be wars

Even God had his enemies killed... So should we dismiss the commandments as utter rubbish?

Ok, I've got $7,000 on a credit card and I need it paid off. The monthly payments are getting out of hand. I say we get a group here together who will pray that I get the money to pay this debt off.
We need a volunteer who has debt as well, who will be willing to not receive prayer that they get money to pay off their debt.

Then we need to set some rules and make sure it's fair and standardized. And we'll see if the prayer works.

Any volunteers for this experiment?

Alright, I've decided I'm doing my Persuasive speech on Matthew Shepard and the different Hate Crimes that have been surrounding the gay community for years. Basically, the persuasive speech is more on omitting hate from society. Any ideas, how or why, or what should be done to accomplish this? It's the holiday spirit, try to stay in the helpful, anti-hate mood. ^_^

The Quran restates many biblical stories. Most Islamic scholars explain this apparent plagerism by claiming that Allah had to create another scripture called the "Quran" because he let his previous scriptures get corrupted by mankind (ex: bible, torah).

Therefore, all biblical scriptures not also found in the Quran, are corrupted and purposely left out of the Quran by Allah. As a logical consequence, we can also conclude that those scritpures, such as "Love your neighbor as yourself (Mat 22:39, 19:19, 5:43)" or "love your enemies (Mat 5:44)" are against the will of Allah.

In other words, Allah doesnt want you to love your neighbor, otherwise he would have put it in the Quran instead of calling it a "corrupted" verse.

This point is further illuminated by the fact that the Quran never tells followers to love anyone. So "love your neighbor" is not modified or recast, it doesnt exist in any form and is thus against the will of Allah.

Do a Quran word search with "love".

Like, in Spain, pronouncing the C like a th?? Also, the same for Argentina, like with the Sho sound that replaces the Y, and ll.
