it's not the main reason for a relationship but it does play an important part

No, S-E-X is not the #1 choice in any relationship that I have had that actually was worth something - trust and understanding, compatibility and love - those all make the S-E-X even better! When a relationship is based on the physical it can't really go anywhere - all you do is just have S-E-X you don't communicate and when you do it leads right back to the bedroom - what good is that when you want to have a great relationship that works. Though on the other hand if that is ALL you want then there ya go - a perfect relationship - but human nature will push us to want more than just bedroom time.

If you're asking if sex is the most important part of a relationship, then I'd say no. A lot of relationships manage to get by with no sex. But it's an important part, and not a part that I would part with willingly, if the choice was up to me.

No it shouldn't be. Effection should be the number one choice in a relationship because you and your partner should be able to show their love for you by not having sex.

No- you can have chemistry between the sheets but none in other areas of your life. In a relationship, I want love and commitment- that's number 1. The only relationship where sex is number one is that of a f*ck buddy- and I want a different type of relationship. Of course, sex is important, but not the most important, not to me.

I want a good relationship before sex. If the relationship is good, the sex will be good. If it's bad, the sex will be... well, not worth keeping the relationship up for, no matter how good it is.

Never. I am glad the basis of me and my girlfriends relationship is not s.e.x., because if it was, I would not keep up. It comes down to 2 souls just being able to connect.

If the sex sucks I'm gone.I'm not going to pretend to like it and I'm not going to sacrifice happiness for lousy sex just because I like the guy or girl however I would try to teach him or her first before showing em the door.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking.
I'd prefer a relationship that included sex to one that didn't, yes.
