It's always black people this or black people that. It's annoying. I'm sick of stereotypes. it's a lot people that think we are the only race that is strange or inferior or different. If they think that, why can't they stop talking about us and leave us alone, if they hate us so much. Man, you don't know how much I really want this race thing obliviated.

I am muslim and wear a hijab and people always look at me as if I'm an Alien. I thought America was supposed to be a place where everyone is equal yet people are always quick to judge and stare. I am not saying everyone does this ( my friends all of which are different races and relegions don't).

Are We All Really that Different?

Why is it whenever I go outside
People always stare
As an equal human being
I find this unfair

Why are you quick to judge
When I have done nothing wrong
You look at me as if
I'm the freakiest thing you've sawn

Can't you accept
That I am different from you
Because whenever I see someone different
I accept them too

as a life stye choice. For example people who claim to have a direct communication with a god are widely tolerated and not treated for their illness. Why is this? Is it right that this happens?

I just heard Al Sharpton say on CNN Headline News that the ONLY people who you can legally commit a hate crime against is a black person. (Heard with my own ears)

Do you think he's right or do you think he's off base?
(I ask this here because he is "Rev" Al Sharpton.)

Cooking a turkey for thanksgiving???
Question Details: OK I posted a thing on here about help with cooking a turkey and someone wrote something to me My question is where do I find the Jennie-O turkey?? Is it usually at every grocery store? I lvie in Hawaii so things are al ittle differant and everything we have safeway and times and stuff likethat and a walmart which is not a super center... wher is the best places to find and purchase this type of turkey?? Here is the post they worte iwth to my last question.. Thanks Brittany If you are not very cooking savey, i suggest buying a Jennie-O Oven Roasted Turkey. The turkey comes pre-packaged and seasoned and includes a pop up timer in the turkey. Everything is ready. All you have to do is purchase the turkey, and while frozen, put it in the oven. The cooking time directions are right on the packages. They come in two seasoning flavors, and a variety of sizes!! Don't worry, you don't have to clean this turkey or anything. Everything is done for you.

I'm writing a paper suggesting that a legally blind person can't notice race, therefore would be "color blind". I need a jumping off point, if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks ahead of time.

I certainly wouldnt. Besides the obvious multiple partners issue, would you? & why is it not ok for a woman to have multiple husbands like the mormans & muslims? If someone already sleeps around, is it better if they marry 4 people to legitimize it?

This is a ? for believers only. Five years ago I received prophetic dreams, which were backed up on numerous ocassions by God in the Bible, other believers, and signs. I prayed a lot about what God was saying to me in the dreams, and asked for correction should I have misinterpreted the message. Instead, I got wonderful confirmations and I have actively questioned them, and accepted it critically. I am a very rational Christian, and know the dangers of believing in something not from God, so it is very important to make sure that I heard right and it was from God.

So, the question is: if you believe something and you base your life on it but you are mistaken, will God allow you to continue to believe and follow that path? What loving Father would allow a questioning child to have false hope, receive all these verses and confirmations, and never say "Excuse me, child, but that wasn't me or you did not hear/see right". If I was wrong I would have known by now... your opinions?

We see them almost everyday, they tell a story about their desire of converting away from Islam for some stupid reasons. I have no objection on conversion at all. But at least they should play it smart & educate themselves a little about Islam before telling their stories.

Some tips for future stories:
1- If you want to convert away of Islam, you don't need to ask how to convert away of Islam, rather ask how to convert to religion X as converting away requires nothing, while converting to specific religion might require something.
2- Muslims worship Allah, they don't worship Muhammed (pbuh). So instead of saying "Mohammed doesn't like girls/guys to do so and so", say "It's forbidden in Islam to do so & so"
3- People convert to another religion out of religious purposes not to live their life with no restrictions. So if your point is to bash on Islam restrictions, do not use another religion, think of something else.

Okay, hear me out. As I understand it, Einstein was some kind of supergenius who came to a lot of conclusions. Here's the weird conclusion I came up with: at what point was there some kind of connection to realize that there's a nuclear force, rather than solid objects? Where'd we come up with all of these ideas that are so different from common and ordinarily observational perception? Was Einstein touched by the will of the universe, and able to draw upon that power to lead us to the truth, and the staggering power that that truth contains?

A friend and I were having this conversation earlier today. I am interested in how you define yourself as a good Christian or a True Christian.

I often hear people referred to as having been a good Christian, and I am wondering what this means. I mean no disrespect by this question.
