here is a post i just made somewhere else...

because there is no such thing as god, and the bible is made up. man created god, not the other way around. maybe u need to realize that people don't want to change their beliefs bc some strange person told them to. there is a kingdom hall right in front of my neighborhood and i find it really annpying when they come to my door.
religion was just something made up a long time ago to control people. and plus i dont know why people have so much "faith" or whatever in god and then when something bad happens to them it just god tryin to show them something, it seems made up to me. i had a friend whose parents werent religious but as a little child she still took herself to church and became all religious and stuff, and then her mom died when she was 10. hmmm.... god punishing her because she gave her life to him? needless to say she is an atheist now. i also dotn get why when people are giving thanks they say it wouldnt have been possible without god, which doesnt make any sense cuz they worked hard and did it all themselves.. .whatever.

i bet i am really annoying to a lot of people but these are my beliefs, and im not saying one should have the same beliefs as me, i respect other people's religion, but not when they try to force it on me.

i sound ignorant... :^(

If there was real proof then we would be like the angels .
We would be stripped of our free will to choose and we would not be human as we are now . That is not to say we can't make certain assumptions based on the nature of existence , the order in the world and our capacity to make moral decisions ,these things point to the conclusion that there is an intelligent creator at work .
Life is about hope and making plans for the future ,but we die so why do we bother , but we still do !! I think that is because we know at some level of our being that we have eternity to look forward to and it will be beyond our wildest expectations . Very subjective I know but ultimately we face death on our own with no smart philosopher to plead for us so we have to make our own sense of Gods existence for ourselves . ( Unless you are a member of an infallible religion that gives you a cast iron guarantee of the truth )

Many people believe that all creation happened due to chance or evolution. Let them consider these facts about our marvelous earthly home and then see if they still have doubts about a Creator:
The earth is placed at just the right distance from the sun, its source of energy in the form of light and heat.
It moves around the sun at just the right speed, and rotates on its axis every 24 hours, and has just the correct angle of tilt.
It has a protective, life-sustaining atmosphere with just the right mixture of gases.
It provides the water and soil needed to grow food.
It provides a variety of delicious and colorful fruits, vegetables and other foods.
We also are able to enjoy the beauty that exists in the sky such as rainbows, the stars and a moonlit night.
We enjoy the mountains, the streams and lakes, the varieties of beautiful fragrant flowers, plants and trees and so many other delightful living things.
When I consider all these things and how I am able to see in living color and can taste all the foods the earth provides, then yes---God is real and all things were created by intelligent design.

YES! Eight years ago, I was leaving one morning to go to the hospital because my teeth was hurting but I could not take time out from my job to wait for the dentist. While I was walking to the bus, I started crying and saying "Please God don't leave me. People leave but You don't. Please stay with me!" I cried on the bus and people were looking at me and I did not know why I was so upset. I got off in a few blocks and was crossing the street when a medical transport van hit me going 35-40 mph. All I remember is opening my eyes and staring into the sky which was so bright, sunny and beautiful. I sensed people around me and I could not figure out why. My head felt like it was resting on someone's lap and I wasn't afraid or hurting or anything but wondering. It felt like someone was right next to me on my right side and I felt cared for and held. There was two paramedics, one on each side of me and one of the paramedics told me I had been hit by a van. I protested but he explained again and I told him that it wasn't true because Princess Diana had been in a car accident the prior year(my accident was in 1997) and I am nobody special. Then I said that if what they were saying was true, God had just saved my life! I did not suffer any broken bones or lose any body parts and there was not a drop of blood. The van was going 35-40 mph on a busy two way street and I was hit where I guess I flew up in the air and landed in the middle of the street. God heard me and did not abandon me and I wasn't afraid and He saved my life! I am not happy AT ALL about the acccident except that now I KNOW GOD LISTENS TO US AND ACTUALLY HEARS WHAT WE ARE SAYING AND WON"T LEAVE US IF WE ASK HIM! I am sorry for rambling but the accident changed my life for the better in alot of ways and I hope you can feel the same way about God(except without anything bad happening, of course!).

Is there proof of Mozart? Is there proof of Micheal Angelo?
The works of art they left behind are the proof of their existence. (Though even those who left nothing behind really existed.) Now look at the order and beauty in the universe fro the greatest to the smallest thing. Really look - the beauty boggles the mind. Romans 1:20 says these made things are evident of a maker.

yes there is a handbook named the holy bible that exist from many years ago, plus i invite you to study this one through an institute so yo will understand better,GOD is the essence of the good like:peace, love etc... you see when somebody live with god and another not, instead of the situations they keep the balance and thanks to god because there is a porpouse on the situation,GOD is spirit,GOD is nature,in the bible says than the people without GOD can not reach to see the things that somebody with GOD can reach to see,it is beyond of the eye of the human being, the heart is the key like a window too dust do not see clear we ought to clean it.

There are many proofs as illustrated by the answers above. The problem is people like you are determinist--those that are determined to accept only their views and reject others.
