A friend and I were having this conversation earlier today. I am interested in how you define yourself as a good Christian or a True Christian.
I often hear people referred to as having been a good Christian, and I am wondering what this means. I mean no disrespect by this question.

A Good Christian follows Christ's example as best they can, and when they arent following His example, they arent making as though they are. For example, I follow Christ and His teachings, I try to do the same things He did, but, I smoke, is this following Christs example? No, but I know it's not and dont try to excuse it. If I went on a crusade saying this is what He wants, then I am no longer a Good Christian. Everyone is flawed, everyone sins we will not be sinless like Jesus was in this life. But, like Him we can love eachother, take care of people, worship His Father, spread the good news that our sins have been paid for. Yelling screaming and condemning everyone was NOT the example He set so this is not the act of "Good Christianity" it is an act of the flesh and pride. Jesus hung out with the worst of sinners, I can to.. He loved them and so can I, He did not bash them and neither will I.

behavior,the way that you live the most of the time accord to the sacred scriptures not accord to religion,if you sutdy the holy bible it is like the handbook to read when you are going to make the driving test(something than many christians do not do),there are teachings,experiences of the ancestors and rules or tips to behave in this world but the most of the christian prefer to ignore,because the way to live like christian is not easy!search an institue and study all the levels then let me know if i was wrong!way of live with youself and the people around plus the communication with GOD(relationship).GOD BLESS YOU!

Well I would say following the greatest commandment. Assording to Jesus is, "to love the lord your God with all your heart soul mind and strength. And the second is like it; Love your neighbor as yourself."

A good x-ian is one who really puts their money where their mouth is. Their bible says they are to love everyone, then they should. Their bible says they shouldn't judge others, a good x-ian won't.
